"It was further away from the centre than we thought, our mistake. Imagine a rather rundown motel room desperately in need of an upgrade! It was very bijou but had everything we needed for a short stay: comfortable bed, a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, a clean bathroom. We were only staying to do a quick sightseeing of the area before moving on, so we didn't need much!"

"This is a basic motel. It is clean and was comfortable. Breakfast was offered but did not have options at all for dietary intolerances or allergies. Though the notice said that staff speak English, the receptionist had to get a colleague to deal with my request for a refund for breakfast. This made for discomfort, though the refund was given. "

"This is a quiet chateau with simple gardens. It has rooms in the Chatteau and the Orangery. We stayed in the Orangery. The room was a fair size and quite well appointed. The bathroom had been renovated to a good modern standard. The place was efficiently run. We had an excellent meal in the 109 restaurant in the cellar. Great space and great service. Overall this was a good stopover for us. "

"Look the hotel is generally lovely & the receptionist really delightful. The room when we first entered was also great and had a wonderfully warm, homely feel to it. But the bathroom was pretty dire in most respects with confusing taps and a shower system that was cheaply put together and simply didn’t work at all well with a separate and really uninviting loo area. It’s a shame the bathroom lets this hotel down because otherwise it’s excellent and pretty good value for money. "
