"Our stay at Hotel Nacional Rio de Janeiro OFICIAL proved to be great, we only wished we could have stayed longer. The ocean view from our room was utterly amazing. The suite was spacious and well designed. We spent a lot of time out in the town, however the highlight of our stay was phonmenal bartender named Wanderson, he took pride in service and even more in his cocktails. "The hotel is classically beautiful with its spacious rooms, colourfully and tastefully decorated. I'm not surprised many celebrities have stayed there! The bed is super comfortable and the blackout blinds left all the day light outside so we could have a nice lie in the next morning. The hotel is super clean and tidy. "We were a little worried about going to Rio with some of the advisories, but we had an amazing trip. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, the dining and shopping amazing and the beaches unparalleled. My husband even forgot his phone in a cab and it was returned within the hour! Went to a fotbol game and the experience was awesome. We would highly recommend Rio and the Fairmont. "
