Welcome to The Beach Cottage!

Just a minute or two walk to Separation Creek beach, this cute little cottage is a perfect escape for you and your four-legged friends. Surrounded by lush well-established gardens the home includes a 2-bedroom cottage and separately accessed studio, all under the same roofline. Absolutely perfect for inviting friends or relatives who prefer their own space, The Beach Cottage also features a spacious rear yard with covered decking and ocean glimpses.

The main living is cosy with a wood fireplace, comfy lounges, and TV. Two bedrooms and main bathroom flank the living to the rear. The studio has its own en suite, kitchenette and separate side balcony. The yard is fully fenced, with a lawn area and is perfect for most pets. The property also has a ramp for easy wheelchair access.

The overall experience is about relaxation and simplicity. Wye River general store and Pub is an easy 15 min walk as is the main patrolled beach. For those not keen on the walk it is a 2 minute drive. 15 min minutes by car back to cosmopolitan Lorne for some shopping and fine dining, 20 minutes to the seaside town of Apollo Bay and 2 hours south to the Apostilles. Or simply kick back like most and go absolutely nowhere.

The Beach Cottage is a genuine comfortable holiday destination in cracking location. Nothing more, nothing less. Enough said. See you soon.

Great stay at the Beach Cottage
Sweet little cottage in a lovely garden minutes from the beach.it is also dog friendly and our dog loved the garden and sleeping on the deck. My daughter loved the studio as it is quite seperate and private.

Great property sitting in a brilliant location. Seated in between Lorne and Apollo Bay and with a 10 minute walk to the beach it is the ideal location to break journey and relax. The 3 bedrooms home has a cozy garden and is well fenced off for your fur babies. Plenty of wood is supplied by the owners which will let you keep the home nice and warm during the colder nights. The one thing to look out for is, like all home in the area, water needs to be used sparingly. Also, it is good to note that the closest grocery store (Foodworks & IGA) is either in Lorne or Apollo Bay.

Perfect getaway
We adored our stay. The property was perfect for us. It’s right in the middle of things, but far away from the crowds, with a beautiful beach just down the road and a delightful walk to the Wye River general store and hotel. The house is perfectly appointed and very comfortable and the King Parrots also came to visit, which was very special.

Sweet spot
Lovely comfortable home with such a flexible well designed outside area. Our elderly blind dog even figured out the ramp, and had a wonderful time gambolling on the lawn. It’s a great treat to be in a small residential cove with no businesses at all, just the sound of the sea and the birds. Thank you!
