"Convenient hotel with on-site parking for ¥500. Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. Also, though a non-smoking room was reserved, I was given a smoking room, so make sure you check upon check-in."
"It was the only hotel which had a room continuesly for a two week stay in Saijo.
The hotel is quite old, but staff is friendly and breakfast quite good. About 800m from Seijo train station."
"Nice mountain resort hotel with a view of the lake. Check in was easy and room was large. We had half board - food was good but probably due to communication problem, we were not served Japanese-style dinner like the local tourists. However breakfast was Japanese. There was a nice onsen too. There was a slight problem in the morning when water was cut off, but it was restored just before check out. The owner was very apologetic and waive the my charges for sake drink which I ordered during...
"Lovely hotel with phenomenal multi course Japanese breakfast and dinner. We used it now twice while visiting Rabbit Island. Would highly recommend it. "
"As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums...

"Great property about 10 min walk from station. Place was clean with a ton of amenities. Staff was very responsive and very helpful with extending my stay. Also a big supermarket a few blocks away. Safe and quiet as well.
If you go to Onomichi definitely stay here. "
"Smooth check-in and check out process, close to some very good local food. Rooms felt a bit on the smaller side but that's to be expected in Japan. Staff was very attentive and helpful."
