We were in Paris just to see the Moulin Rouge’s show, this hotel was just right down the street from there. We had a window view of the Moulin Rouge building. The hotel was doing a little remodeling but did not disturb us at all. The place was clean and comfortable. Yes the rooms were small but most of the buildings in Paris are small so this wasn’t a bother to us since we just use to sleep.

Incredible location in Le Marais! A stunning hotel. Safe, quiet, and extremely kind and helpful staff. I will definitely be returning for my next trip to Paris!

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at La Dépendance. The hotel is in such a great location to access many of the main Paris attractions by foot (less than 20 minutes or so). It’s close to the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Musée de l'Orangerie to name a few. Also close to the seine where you can take a leisurely walk. The room was small, bathroom even smaller but it was very clean. And no weird smells or mystery stains. The only downside was the street noise but I feel that is out of the hotel’s control so if you are sensitive to noise bring some earplugs. I wish I didn’t opt to split my stay in Paris in two different hotels to explore a different neighborhood, because my second hotel which is supposed to be a 4 star hotel was very disappointing. I would definitely recommend La Dependance to friends and family who wish to visit Paris.
