We really liked the hotel, the setting is magnificent, the staff pleasant and professional... we had booked for 2 days but we ended up staying for 5 days. Honestly it is a very nice hotel

Excellent Resort/Hotel, Management, Staff and facilities. In all 8 Years I have been in The Gambia in several Resorts, Hotels, Apartments, Luxe Lodges, this is the Best, number one for me. The Garden is marvellous too and the swimming pool is Best ever seen, same for the Room. Excellent wuality, nice style and so nice to relaxe. I am realy impressed

Most of the staff was friendly, while one other staff refused to speak or say hello to me at breakfast time. They only wanted my room number. I eventually said hello and greated them but they seem uncomfortable. However they were more friendly to other guests than myself. So I will not be returning to Bamboo resort. They also charge for late check out by the hour and when i left my luggage at reception it was left unattended eventhough i was told someone will always be there to keep an eye. I was very disappointed

The property has a lovely concept, but the property is runned down, walls are falling apart, the same with the furniture. However, the staff is wonderful and very nice.

The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little disappointing with not much selection to choice from. Overall a great experience and would definitely return

The staff are the best and will go above and beyond to assist customers. The breakfast was fine. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most things you would want and need on holiday. The peacocks and other birds that live on the grounds made it a wonderful, unique place to stay. The beds are really not comfortable, unfortunately. Oh, and there seemed to be a shortage of napkins and toilet paper for some strange reason: we did however, find plenty in the shop, some 50 metres from the hotel.

Did not stay at the Bamboo as they did not accept the Reservation process by Expedia left me stranded when I arrived for check in Am really anger with the whole situation as I already informed you Expedia about the situation

I changed rooms 3 times due to A/C issues, privacy, and also outside noise. No A/C in public areas eg, lobby and breakfast area. I did brought the issues that I experienced with the General manager. As a hotel manager my self, I made some recommendations. I worked for Hilton brand hotels .

Die Anlage an sich ist sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer leider nicht. Gerade das Bad (Zahnpasta Reste der vorherigen Bewohner an den WĂ€nden, Haare im Abfluss und verkalkte Armaturen) und einiges mehr.. HandtĂŒcher, die gestellt werden sind fleckig oder kaputt und Nachschub an Klopapier gibt es erst nach mehrmaligem Bitten. Kleiderschrank ist nicht vorhanden, lediglich eine Stange mit fĂŒnf BĂŒgeln und an den StĂŒhlen vor der TĂŒr wickelt sich langsam aber sich das Polyrattan ab. Wenn man am Pool liegt kommen die Kellner dort nicht hin, um die GetrĂ€nkekarte zu bringen oder eine Bestellung aufzunehmen, man muss selbst an die Bar obwohl das Personal dazu vorhanden wĂ€re. Auf Bestellungen, egal ob Essen oder GetrĂ€nke wartet man ewig, die QualitĂ€t der Speisen ist mittelmĂ€ĂŸig, das FrĂŒhstĂŒck eintönig. Da 24/7 mit GartenschlĂ€uchen Wasser in den Pool gelassen wird ist dieser immer sehr kalt und auch die liegen drum herum sind teilweise kaputt. Die Hotelanlage an sich ist sehr gepflegt, es sind tĂ€glich GĂ€rtner dort und man legt Wert auf Sauberkeit. Das Hotel hat großes Potenzial, das leider nicht richtig genutzt wird.. könnte ein großartiger Ort sein.

VÀlkomnande personal, trevligt, gott om solstolar och vÀlskött stor pool. Bra mat men frukost buffén var dÄligt utbud pÄ. Det fanns inget bord ute pÄ vÄran terass/ingÄng medans vissa hade det. Ont i ryggen efter varje morgon, tunna madrasser i sÀngen, lakanet gled av efter nÄn timme nÀr man lagt sig.. Plast skydd pÄ madrassen. Annars överlag helt okej.

Resorten Àr mycket sliten men har nog varit en fin resort en gÄng i tiden. Utemöbler Àr sönder och rostiga. I rummen fungerade inte tvn och internet var mycket dÄligt. I det ena rummet hade vi ingen kyl och det fanns inga hÀngare eller fjÀrrkontroll till AC. Dessutom sÄ var kranen helt lös inne pÄ toaletten och dörrarna Àr in till rummet Àr ganska dÄliga.
