Had the Ocean view. Very clean big room. Bathroom is spacious with a big shower & tub. Balacony has a nice view but some palm trees block some view. Walkable distance to the beach/ocean, have easy excess to pools, you can eat on the beach, also has restaurants, SPA area,breakfast until i believe 10am. High Recommended. Comfortable.Clean. Good beach, standard not living up to the price.

Spacious room and good view. Disturbing noice from construction site right behind the hotel. Some of the staff was too eager to get in contact with you, even when I was in the pool, it was too much. Breakfast was so so, not much left if you come late. The room looked nice at first view, but rather worn at a closer look. Very poor internet.

The internet was poor when it did work. Some days there was no internet for the entire day. There are vagrants walking around and sunbathing on the property everyday. The owners seem to allow this in exchange for services they may receive from some of individuals. I would never stay here again.

The interior decor of the hotel was very nice and the room and bathroom nicely designed but ants, spiders and cockroaches also lived there. I got food poisoning from room service with 24 hours of immediate vomiting of their benachin dish and 72 hours of diarrhea. Their breakfast was so so but their customer service left a lot to be desired. The beach at the bottom of the steps leading from the hotel had dogs pooping near the water, boys washing sheep in the ocean and cows wandering around. Very unsightly eyesore.. Yuck.

The staff made the stay amazing, very attentive and friendly. The hotel is clean if a bit tired. The location is excellent, the beach lovely. The Hotel food is excellent, and well priced, I can recommend the calamari, really good. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay again.

Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr geräumig incl. der hohen Zimmerdecken. Etwas kühl von der Atmosphäre her, da kein einziges Bild an der Wand hing. Die Tagesdecke war leider sehr schmutzig. Es gab einen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit Wasser heiß zu machen incl. Kaffeepulver und Tee.Für Gambische Verhältnisse war das Zimmer sehr sauber, ebenso das Badezimmer, wenn man von den Fugen in den Fließen mal absieht. Extrem große Duschkabine, mit warmen Wasser (zumindest am Tag). Und auch das Bad war insgesamt sehr groß, sogar mit Badewanne. Der Ausblick aufs Meer war super, super schön. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und sehr zurückhaltend, etwas was ich von Gambia her so nicht kenne. Auch das Restaurant haben wir einmal ausprobiert, das Essen war nicht überragend, aber völlig ok. Da die Tischdecke schmutzig war haben wir sie austauschen lassen, was sofort erledigt wurde. Der Nachmittagssnack war auch gut, da stimmte aber das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht, da die Portion extrem klein war. Mir hat gefallen, dass das Hotel nicht so groß war und für gambische Verhältnisse war es wirklich sehr sauber, aber das merkt man natürlich auch am Preis. Über die Umgebung kann ich nicht viel sagen, da wir nur 3 Nächte dort waren. Senegambia ist zu Fuß etwa 30 Minuten entfernt. Der Strand ist direkt am Hotel. Die beiden Pools waren klein, aber für mich völlig ausreichend. Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden und würde dort auch wieder buchen :-)
