"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. "We’ve had a wonderful week here. The pool is fantastic especially as temperatures were in the high 30s, thankfully inside the house remains cool. The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries."

"Lovely classic old French house, slightly out of town (very short drive, OK walk) with great pool, top quality table football, table tennis, nice furnishings. One bedroom off by the pool, for better or worse. Riberac is a quiet but nice town, and the house is near the river, across from a small village with a friendly cafe - closed for part of August. Very convenient to supermarket and petrol."

A very relaxing oasis ,we all had great sleeps. Convienient location for exploring the Bordeau area. Easy train connection to Bordeau city,and very close to a great supermarket in Montpon. "The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. "Wow… this place is absolutely beautiful! The photos don’t do it justice. The host Fabienne is so lovely, helpful and accommodating we would go back in a heartbeat. A perfect remote location with plenty places to visit a short drive away it was the perfect location for our two families. The pool is great! The patio was perfect for our evenings while the children swam until late. Comfortable beds, everything you need and more! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for. Fantastic stay."

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....
