"Property and house was excellent. Wanted a place away from the city, that was quiet and would provide the comforts of home. Luis, was an excellent host and put a lot of attention into this beautiful home. Melba was excellent and will accommodate any and all needs, amazing cook. Guardian the dog of the property, is playful and was bringing us company along the property. We enjoyed amazing sunsets with a warm cup of coffee. Overall it was an amazing experience."

"I had a short layover in BogotĂĄ and wanted to spend it in a calm, natural setting just outside the city. Staying at Laguna de Guatavita was an absolutely spectacular experience. The cabin is nestled in lush greenery, offering total peace and quietâyet it's surprisingly easy to get in and out of BogotĂĄ, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle without feeling remote.
The accommodation strikes a rare and wonderful balance: high-standard amenities in a traditional, nature-filled environment. Everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was thoughtfully provided.
One of the true highlights of the experience was meeting Jorge. Heâs an outstanding hostâfully fluent in English and German, incredibly well-travelled, and deeply passionate about Colombia and his home city. His affinity for healthy living, yoga, mindful eating, and life coaching made our conversations all the more meaningful and enriching. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that he offers private tours of BogotĂĄ and the surrounding areas, which Iâd highly recommend to anyone wanting a more personal, in-depth experience of the region.
