The Loft is the most private cabin we have at The Mustard Seed. Surrounded by The Smoky Mountains, there are breathtaking views everywhere you look – even the ability to see all the way to Clingman’s Dome from your cabin (download the mountains & peak app and bring binoculars) and to the mountains of North Carolina from the bench swing located up at The Overlook. When you stay at The Loft, you will experience the feeling of being secluded from Pigeon Forge, while in reality, you’re only 6 minutes away. This 2 story, 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom cabin is perfect for your next trip. It sleeps up to 4 guests so come by yourselves, with another couple or bring your family. Relax on the balcony in the morning with your coffee while listening to the birds and at night, be mesmerized by the gorgeous sunset over the mountains in front of you while enjoying a glass of wine. The hot tub on the wrap around porch gives you time to relax while enjoying the mountain views. The Loft is located on our property called The Mustard Seed Venue and has many amenities to keep you busy during your stay. If you have other family and friends who want to join you, this is the perfect location since The Mustard Seed (TMS) consists of 8 cabins that are all in walking distance of each other, but not on top of each other, 12 acres that you can walk around and multiple amenities to help provide you with a wonderful, relaxing stay. Living Room:
The living room at the loft has 2 couches, a woodburning fireplace and a large Roku TV. It is a comfortable room to relax in with family and friends after a nice day of sightseeing and hiking.

Kitchen/Dining Room:
You will find a fully equipped kitchen that offers everything you need to cook a delicious meal and enjoy it at the round dining room table that seats 4. Coffee, sugar and sweet & low are provided for the Keurig Duo (bring pods if you use them). Use the toaster for your bagels or blend up a smoothie.

Items provided: pots and pans, toaster, blender, hand mixer, serving/cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses/cups, wine glasses and coffee mugs, Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave & Keurig Duo If something is needed/missing please reach out to Kathryn.
(Dish towels, dish soap, hand soap and a sponge are provided)

Outside Game Areas:
Behind Tanner Manor Lodge (1231 Pine Mountain Way) you will find a huge Chess & Checkers set on the back porch (available 9am – 9pm), a Pickleball Court (bring your own paddles and balls), Tetherball, and a trail to The Ashes Firepit (bring your own wood and lighter, a water hose is provided at the Firepit). The Pickleball Court can NOT be driven over unless you have a golfcart with you. There’s an Outside Game Bin on the other side of the Well House. Up at the top 1215 between the last 2 cabins is another huge Outside Game Bin. In it, you will find: Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, Frisbees, Croquet and more. Please put everything back when you are finished playing.

Outdoor spaces:

On the back balcony, you can rest and relax on the outdoor seating and bench swing with gorgeous mountain views or let your worries drift away in the four-person hot tub on the wrap around porch. Grill out on the charcoal grill located at the top of the property (go up the gravel road, take a sharp left and follow it up past the gazebo & outside chapel and the grill is on the left next to the bench swing and picnic table). Bring your own charcoal and lighter. There is an EV car charger located at an adjacent cabin that is an easy few minutes walk away. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it and directions to it.

EV Charger:
There is an EV charger at one of our cabins that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it.

Location/Roads/Parking:
This cabin is easily accessible by motorcycle or vehicle – motorcycles can park at Tanner Manor Lodge if needed (3-4 minute walk away), but many people have driven them up to the cabin. You will find Kroger and Publix at the bottom of the mountain, Food City and Dollar General are close by and Walmart is about 15 minutes away. Just 6 minutes down the mountain is The Parkway in Pigeon Forge, 10 minutes to Downtown Pigeon Forge/The Old Mill, 15-20 minutes to Gatlinburg, 15 minutes to Dollywood, 40 minutes to Cades Cove, 20ish minutes to the Smoky Mountain (depending on which part you are going to), and 10 minutes to The Island and Wears Valley. With such a great location, you're just a short drive from everything the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer. The road up to The Mustard Seed is paved, once you drive past Tanner Manor Lodge (on our property), it becomes a graded, gravel road that is easy to navigate. You will have space to park as many cars as necessary in front of the cabin.

Pet Policy:
Pets are NOT allowed at The Loft. If there is evidence of a pet being brought into the cabin, there will be a fee and it will also be on your review so we highly encourage you not to bring one in. If there is an extenuating circumstance why you do need to bring one, contact Kathryn and there will be a fee and pet rules to follow.

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.

Check-In:
4:00pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, you will receive the door code – you will have it by 24 hours before your stay, otherwise contact Kathryn if it hasn’t shown up in your email / app. You will be notified if the cabin is ready for a free early check in. Please check the refrigerator upon arrival for Wi-Fi information and Check Out List. Contact Kathryn if you have any questions about the Check Out List. This has to be done prior to departure in order for you to have a 5 star review AND our housecleaner has provided a discount based on you doing this Check Out List (discount already included in the cleaning fee). If everyone does this, it helps the housecleaners get the cabin ready for the next guest quickly so that they can check in on time, just like you were able to.


Check-Out:
11:00am – Please check the refrigerator for the Check Out List. Again, this has to be done prior to departure in order for you to have a 5 star review AND our housecleaner has provided a discount based on you doing this Check Out List (discount already included in the cleaning fee). If everyone does this, it helps the housecleaners get the cabin ready for the next guest quickly so that they can check in on time, just like you were able to.

Fireplaces:
Woodburning fireplace, please provide your own wood and lighter. Fireplaces are allowed to be used October 1st – March 31st. They may not be used April 1st – September 30th. If they are, there will be an additional fee charged.
