Buddy’s Mountain Hideaway

Enjoy your evening star-gazing in your very own hot tub under the stars!

The vaulted ceiling and large viewing windows give this cabin a "Big Lodge" feel.

Enjoy a cup of morning coffee on 1 of 4 decks, relaxing to the sounds of nature. The lofted pool room is completed with LCD TV, bathroom and private deck! 2 distinct living areas featuring a video arcade station and LCD TV/DVD in one and the other a Stack-Stone Gas Fireplace with LCD TV in the other. The kids will enjoy the living room that is equipped with lots of board games to play, located next to the kids bedroom with two full log beds.

Speaking of beds, all of our bedrooms are equipped with luxurious Nectar mattresses for a comfy night's sleep!

From the birch floor and stainless steel appliances to the cozy and warm custom decorating, no detail has been missed to ensure that your stay at our little slice of paradise will be relaxing and fun.

** Special Note: This cabin has inclined parking which could be difficult for those with mobility issues**

**Please note there is a separate fee of $75 to bring Fido. Dogs must be older than 2 years, well trained, and under 75 pounds. We allow a maximum of 2 pets and all pets must be pre-approved. Each pet must pay the $75 fee.**

Family baseball trip in the mountains!
Our kids were here playing at the All Ripken Games at Ripken Pigeon Forge. We knew we wanted somewhere not on the main strip but close to the facility. This was the perfect location. A few of the photos were not accurate depiction - there is no gas grill on deck. We did a lot of cooking at the house and some of the kitchen amenities were worn. We had a few wildlife visitors including a bear who decided to take the cover off the septic. The owner was incredibly responsive and sent folks to fix it. The hot tub was less than half full when we arrived but we were able to add water and it warmed up. The views are wonderful and the mattress is very comfortable in the Master bedroom. Overall, great stay!

Mountain Getaway
My family and I planned this quick getaway before my kids return to college soon. The property appeared as described. I appreciated the warning about the very steep driveway. We were ok driving a large SUV, but a low profile vehicle would probably not be able to get down the driveway. Honestly, the property could use a deep cleaning on the fixtures, on top of the fridge and around the windows, to name a few. The master bed was very tall which would be an issue if someone a little shorter stayed there. Overall, it was a good stay, we had great weather, the proximity to the area attractions was a short drive, the hot tub was nice and I would consider staying there again.

Wonderful Stay!
We had three generations and three households who visited the Smoky Mountains, and Buddy’s Mountain Hideaway was absolutely perfect. We each had our own space but also shared spaces for hanging out. The cabin had something for everybody from pool to back porch swinging to video games. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to visit again!

Nice cabin but needs a deep cleaning/ poor communication with host
We rented the cabins for 2 nights , when we arrived everything was smooth. After putting couple groceries in the refrigerator it wasn’t cooling. Until we unplugged the refrigerator. We tried messaging our host and call but we didn’t receive a response. Also the blankets had an weird smell, and they have stains on them. Some of my family members had a rash after sleeping in the bed. There was dog hair all over in the cabin, couch, bed, rugs, at this point even in my clothes on my way home. Be aware check out is at 10am even though in the web page says 11am. Also it says it has 2 grills , it was only a small one. Its a nice cabin but it needs to be deep clean.

Great time!
We thoroughly enjoyed this place! The views were amazing! The bedrooms were exactly what we needed and the pool table was a plus on the colder days we had to stay inside! We had a little mishap and the owner was quick to respond and remedy the situation. Will definitely stay again!

This house is clean, has everything you need for your stay and the beds are comfortable and extremely high. One of our guests had to run so she could get on the bed. I am 5'8" and could not get on the bed. The house has great water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom sinks, but the water pressure in the shower was low to non-existent. It took five minutes to get your hair wet. The driveway is extremely steep. When you enter the driveway, you cannot see the bottom. I highly recommend having a 4-wheel drive vehicle for the driveway alone. My Lexus RX 350 had a hard time getting up the hill (the back wheels would spin). PLEASE ONLY USE APPLE MAPS to get to this house.

Buddy’s Cabin was perfect for our family. We had more than enough space in the beautiful 3 story 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom cabin for our 3 teenage boys, and ourselves. The views were spectacular from every level, & there was so much to do, as far as games….The hot tub was huge, not a little 2 seater and the cabin was very clean. We loved every inch of the cabin and enjoyed every second we spent there. Thank you so much for these memories!! We highly recommend this cabin for every reason including affordability….😊

Awesome communication with property owners. House was beautiful and had everything we needed, we especially loved the Christmas decorations as we stayed here to celebrate Christmas holidays with our family! My toddler loved the Pac-Man game downstairs. Highly recommend!

Nice place.. Needs a little work, but over all can't complain. The views here are extraordinary!! The decks were nice to sit on, nice rocking chairs and comfy beds. Driveway very steep, but not a problem for us. We enjoyed our stay. Would do this again!

This trip turned out to be an adventure when the power went out for several hours. The fireplace didn’t work but the owners tried their best to get it working. The view and hot tub is excellent and I’d recommend this cabin. We backed down the driveway like they suggested and it was fine.

very well pleased with this cabin. It could use some small upgrades but nothing bad. They weren't lying about the steep driveway, first time backing in was scary. It's on top of the mountain road. Secluded . peace and quiet. No deer's or bear seen. 5 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and maybe 15 minutes to Gatlinburg. Will go back again.

Quiet cabin with beautiful views!
We loved our stay. It was exactly what we needed. We could get to downtown Gatlinburg in less than 20 minutes but still felt like we were far away from civilization. Stunning view from the balconies. Enough distance between neighbors to feel like we were isolated. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The hot tub was great. Pool table was in decent shape. The few downsides: Not a lot of space to cook, but stocked relatively well for a cabin. The wifi is very slow. Enough to browse the internet but not a whole lot else. We watched a movie one day but it needed to buffer for a while. There is no cell service. We lost WiFi during the early morning hours during a crazy storm. I was a little anxious having no way to reach anyone. But it didn't last too long. There's one big rug in the main area that shows dirt very well and it was obvious it hadn't been vacuumed before our stay. Not a huge deal considering everything else seemed clean, but was not a good first impression. I'd definitely recommend this cabin to those wanting to disconnect with tech and connect with nature, but still be within a short drive of downtown.

We are 2 small families that stayed at Buddy’s Hideaway and had a great time! The neighborhood and views are amazing! The cabin is so nice and just what you want for a mountain retreat. The cabin smelled fresh and clean when we arrived, towels in the dryer; the few things that we noticed were pet hair and dust in the corners of the floors and cobwebs in the upper corners of the bedroom, dust on the walls and top of cabinets. I did vacuum some of the cobwebs down as this was a nice part of the cabin that there was a vacuum available on each level. Would definitely recommend but maybe think twice if you’re a total clean freak.
