Cabin
Wonderfully located cabin in the smokies! Was everything we needed and more. The water does have a slight smell but nothing bothersome. Would definitely stay again! We saw multiple bears on our trip which was awesome for all of us.

Cabin in the woods
We really enjoyed this location and cabin very much. The only complaint was the smell of the tap water, but we just bought bottled to drink…the hot tub could’ve used a once over as well, but we took care of that. Great location, saw the entire Park and surrounding areas, and would love to come back…I’d retire there!

Perfect quite location
The location of the cabin was perfect. We like to spend our time in Townsend and with the kids we went to Pigeon Forge a few times, perfectly located in the middle of the two. Furniture was comfortable and clean. Loved sitting on the screened in porch and watching the birds and bugs. We even saw a bear! Communication with Aunt Bugs was great. We will definitely keep this cabin on our return visit list.

Close to park entrance
The property is very close to a park entrance which is a huge plus. The cabin has privacy. For those not used to well water, the smell of the water could be a problem. Nice furnishings. Beds were comfortable. The showers were small. Many lightbulbs were burned out on the back porch.

Mixed feelings
House is nice, beautiful views. Very dark due to tree coverage which made sleeping in very easy. What has high sulfer content. Made it very challenging to shower. Once you ran the water then the cabin smelt like rotten eggs. Loved porch and hot tub. Found very large spiders in bathroom then couldn't sleep. More of a me problem then a house problem though.

Great weekend getaway
Enjoyed our stay. Saw bears at this cabin twice which was cool. Cabin is on the rustic side so if your in to that you'll love it. The only slight downside was the sulfur water from the taps, which is something I'm not used to but we dealt with it. Might be good if you need to lower your body's Ph ;-)

Private Cabin
Nice, private cabin. There is a couple of cabins in view, but nothing that makes you feel like you have close neighbors that can see and hear everything going on. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking and a nice grill. Great fire-pit with level seating and extra chairs. The pellet heater was not operational, and the cabin did get chilly at night with the electric central heating, but it wasn’t awful. We had one problem with water while there, but it was fixed within a few hours. The well water smelled awful. I reported this issue and hopefully if there is a problem with it, it will be fixed. Overall, we were pleased with this cabin and this area. After 23 years of vacations in the Gatlinburg area, we have found a cabin that we will consider going back to. That is saying a lot, considering we have previously rented 23 different cabins in the past!

Spacious cabin that creaks!
It was a great week for our family. The cabin was very spacious and accommodated all of us adults and kids. I book based on the reviews so I wanted to leave a review so future guests know exactly what this cabin offers. In no way is any of the information listed in a negative way. Plan to bring or buy a lot of your own stuff. There are no extras if anything left from previous guests. This includes garbage bags. no extra blankets so bring your own for the fold out beds. We texted the number and some blankets were delivered to the cabin. there were very few pots to cook with. Two little pots and frying pan. Very few plates and silverware. No seasonings. There are a lot of empty cabinets and shelves. the floor creaks a lot! There is no privacy because you can hear everything through the floor/ceiling from up the stairs bedroom while in the master bedroom. The upstairs bedroom has no walls to separate it from the living area. Did I mention the floor creaks a lot?!?!? Adults don’t expect any privacy in this house. there’s a lot of wide open spaces. the king size bed upstairs is really tall off the floor. My mother could not climb in the bed.we loved having a hot tub but the water was stale and stunk. Def needs some chemicals. Wehave Verizon cell phones and there was no service at the cabin. Don’t expect to call out. We were thankful for the wifi. description mentions a creek. Not one. Water pipe busted 2nd morning but was fixed by maintenance by afternoon.

Close to the Venue and Far from ordinary
The family was visiting while attending a wedding at one of the Mega-Rentals at the top of the mountain. We wanted our own place but to be as close as possible to the event. Loved the privacy being down a long drive way (not right on top of the road). The screened in porch with tub made hot-tubbing wonderful without the worry of bugs. Thank you!

This place was exactly what our family wanted. Hot tub, creek, pinball arcade, and grill were perfect for our stay. If you like privacy with only a 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge this is the place. The property management answered any questions we had and check in is super easy.

Not Well Equipped and Not Truthful Listing
While the cabin was beautiful and located in a great place, amenities were not as expected. Both bedroom televisions were inoperable as a previous reviewer stated. This owner needs to remove the TVs or actually provide service. There is some sort of cable remote but it operates neither television. The description of the cabin states there is a wood burning fireplace. The provided photos clearly show a wood stove and not a fireplace. However, this is not even a “wood burning” stove. It is a pellet stove. This would have been a deal breaker for us and we would not have chosen this rental had the listing truthfully portrayed this for what it is. This was extremely disappointing upon entering the cabin. While there is ample closet space, there are no hangers so we just left all our clothes in our suitcases on the floor on the closet. The kitchen is woefully under equipped for even basic meal prep. While the listing did say we would need to provide paper products (paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper) we in fact needed to bring much more to make it functional. The benefit of renting a home opposed to a hotel is the economic savings by preparing meals. This was not the case, here. We were traveling with our three children and the only meal the kitchen was equipped to prepare was breakfast with the availability of cooking sheets and skillets. There was no crock pot or large sauce pan of any kind to prepare soup after a long day of hiking. No casserole size dishes to bake any pasta dish or other casseroles or dips. This made much of our groceries useless. There was also a significant leak under the kitchen sink and around the faucet which kept the counter and floor wet. This was made even more difficult since they provided only ONE kitchen towel 😳 Yes…one kitchen towel to clean up with, dry dishes with, dry hands with. There was also no cutting board. Had to use a plate that was oddly shaped and not ideal for even chopping. There are also ZERO pot holders so you better hope that one kitchen towel isn’t wet so you can get the cookie sheet of biscuits out of the hot oven. We’ve been renting cabins in the Smokies for 24 years. We’ve never had to provide all of our own paper goods to this extent. We’ve also never been in a kitchen so horribly equipped. The cabin was well decorated and very clean but without the listed amenities of working bedroom televisions, wood burning fireplace, and equipped kitchen, it wasn’t worth the money we spent to stay here

Great Location
This is a fantastic property! There are neighbors but it doesn't feel like it as the cabin is nestled in a valley and surrounded by woods. It is really a beautiful, well designed cabin. Some suggestions for future guests is to bring a Roku or similar device for bedrooms (Living room TV is fine) and the property manager after each checkout empties the cabin of spices including salt and pepper so bring what you need. There is a good sized grocery store in Townsend that is not far. We had a great stay!
