*WINTER 20 OFF* Heavenly Bear by Bear Camp - Secluded, Hot Tub, Free Tickets

Surrounded by dogwood trees this two-bedroom two-bath is the prime example of peace and quiet. It is located about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge with a paved road until you reach the descending driveway which is not motorcycle friendly and is steep, requiring 4WD in winter or wet weather, with parking for two cars at the home.

The entry deck is full of amenities offering a grilling area for evening meals, a hot tub to soak all the soreness out after a long day of traveling, and a porch swing ideal for drinking morning coffee and listening to the sounds of nature that surrounds you. It will be hard deciding to head in for the night or hang out listening to the trees blow in the wind and the birds chirp their nightly tune. If you listen close, you can even hear a nearby stream.

Entering you will have a spacious open area of the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining for 6 and has easy viewing of living room tv, so the master chef of the group won’t miss a thing. The living room is the ultimate area to kick back and watch the game or curl up in front of the fireplace waiting on the heavenly smelling food to be ready,

Continuing off this main level is a full bathroom beside the kitchen, with a beautifully tiled tub shower combo and two bedrooms. The first bedroom to the left has a twin over queen bunk and tv. This room is great for the young adults wanting a relaxing place to go for tablet time or reading. The Master suite is to the right on the main level and offers a stunning Jacuzzi tub shower combo perfect to alleviate the stress of life and give you that Utopian feel you have been craving. The two spaces will have most wanting to turn in early just to enjoy time before bed. This room also has a private exit to the wraparound deck so you can escape outside whenever needed.

Have some night owls in the group, no problem there is a full game room up stairs with a twin sleeper and a full futon. It has a card table, pool table, flat screen tv, and corner table for ones just spectating. Also on this level is a private balcony than makes a phenomenal place for star gazing. You will have no problem finding any constellation on a clear night.

If you are looking for tranquility for you vacation, but don’t want to be to far from civilization, this is the cabin for you and your family. This place is truly a beyond compare.

Privacy... ✔️
The cabin was nice and it was definitely Private, which is what we wanted. Our stay was quite and relaxing. The driveway was Definitely steep! I would not want to try it in the winter. Also, I'd like to mention we were in an F150 and we were able to turn around in the driveway, but two vehicles may have some trouble doing so (with some maneuvering I think its doable). I gave it a 4 star because; First, it had well water that had a Really unpleasant smell (like sulfer?) and slick feeling (Hard water?) to it, and Secondly, the furniture is in desperate need of updating for comfort sake. Side note: we couldn't get the address to come up on Google maps or Waze, it kept coming up with a different house number, but we found it easily inspite of this.

Steep Driveway
VERY VERY STEEP DRIVEWAY, steepest we’ve ever driven. Take a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Our 2020 Pilot did not make it the first time leaving the site, I was crying and ready to get a hotel room. We learned to gun it for us to get out. Reason I’m saying this is because it was not listed in the details until I booked it. Only saw it on a couple of reviews. Washer and dryer locked, we had to buy more clothes. Wi-Fi available but no service. Couldn’t get online till we went to PF. Also there are no handrails on the tubs and we all slipped 😂, so be careful. Beautiful cabin, clean, kids loved the game room, tv didn’t work in there but the pool table did the trick. Would recommend if you want to get away from everything and everyone, including your cell phone.

Great cabin with a few small issues
To start, the cabin was great. Exactly as advertised and worth the money. We ran into a small issuecwith the hit tub, but after calling, the servicectech came and fuxed it before we knew it. Now, the only 2 issues. There was some trash wcattered around the area. It was probably off property or due to the wildlife (we dud have a bear visit). So that could be overlooked. The other issue, as stated on the discription: the driveway is STEEP. They do give you warning on it, but it is easy to overlook. But luckily, the weather was good and all our vehicles handled it Great cabin, good communication, and we had a wonderfull time.

Absolutely Amazing!
I was a little skeptical at first when I rented this cabin. People said there were bugs and I don’t care for little critters! But…this place was absolutely an amazing place for me and my children to stay. We go off in May in honor of my husbands Birthday. He passed away 2 years ago and pigeon forge was his favorite vacation spot. The cabin allowed us to just hang out as a family and enjoy our time together. As my kids grow up, making memories with them means more to me. This cabin helped us do just that! Thank you to the owners!

Secluded Cabin
The cabin was beautiful and completely secluded, which is what we wanted. However, please be prepared for the very steep driveway. The washer/dryer didn’t work but the host did let us know prior to our stay. The only thing I would recommend cleaning/fixing or getting new was the grill. It was extremely rusty on the inside. My husband did his best to clean it to cook but it didn’t do much. Also, I’d recommend having trash cans in some type of enclosed cage type of thing. We caught a raccoon in the act of dumping our trash everywhere. Those were my only negatives. The kitchen is completely stocked with whatever cooking supplies you may need, all the beds were very comfortable as well as the furniture. If you’re looking for a place for peace from phone calls, this is your place! We had no service and it was amazing!!

Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
False Advertising!
The way this cabin was presented on the booking site was extremely misleading. The house looked new & kept up- that was not true. Every facet in the house was lose. The grill was falling apart & impossible to light. There was a moldy spot on the inside of the outside wall in the master bedroom that was wet & soft to the touch. The master bathroom was a trip hazard to say the least. You had to step up at least 24 in then over 12 to even get in the tub to shower. Getting out was even worse b/c the tub was very slippery. There was not lighting in the shower area. Entry into the other bathroom was also a trip hazard. There was an inch lip from the tile work. The outside decking lacked seating. The hot tub ran & never got up to temp one time. From the pics, you thought you were getting a view. This house is in the gully. The driveway is STEEP and curvy. There is no way anyone w/out a 4x4 vehicle had an easy time getting out of there. The turn around a vehicle was small. The directions to the place were from the rental office, so if you are coming from the south, you had to go way out of your way. The office staff was very unhelpful. We got lost. Their only response was "you needed to follow the written directions”. All over every instruction for every feature was if it doesn't work- no refund. I just wanted things to work. Positives- The pool table was nice to have. The house was clean. I would not stay or recommend this cabin to anyone, w many other cabins at this price.

Use email directions NOT GPS.
The cabin was great when we got there but it has a super steep hill and would recommend 4wd if you can but we made it with 2wd. Check your email if you don't get there before the office closes because you do have to submit an ID to get the door code. And use email directions and not GPS. It will get you lost! We had a great time and made many memories!

Quiet location, tucked away
We were thrilled to find a place to stay at the last minute. The reservation was easy and communication emails with management were quick. The cabin is in it's own little tucked away spot, and you must follow the written directions provided. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the cabin was very clean. There were plenty of towels for our family of five and we especially enjoyed the pool table. There was a futon upstairs that folded down into a bed and the couch and chair could also be made into beds if needed. The reception at the cabin was very spotty even over the wifi provided, but that was to be expected for a nice place in the mountains. The hot tub would not turn on when got there and the coffee pot was broken. We called management in the morning and they sent out a new coffeepot and a maintenance person right away. Unfortunately the coffee pot was replaced with a five cup and the base did not warm. There was also a Keurig provided, we just didn't have any pods. The hot tub came on, but we could never get it above 80 degrees, it would not switch modes. When I tried to call the office the reception was so bad I couldn't get through so we didn't worry any more about it, but I was disappointed that we couldn't use it. Overall we had a very nice time.

Beautiful
We went with some friends and our young boys. You couldn’t see any other cabins which was great since we love to let our boys run and be loud without having to worry about neighbors. The boys found several critters in the creek below. Hot tub was great. It wasn’t working the second day, but we called and they came and fixed it right away. GREAT customer service. Just prepare yourself for the drive down into the cabin :). We made it in and out just fine, even the last day during a big rain storm. It is just a little nerve wracking. Boys loved having the pool table, and we didn’t care at all that the wifi and service was spotty. That’s one of the best things about this place. Outside town enough to be secluded, but still close enough that all places are a short drive. Can’t wait to stay again!

Secluded and quiet
Cabin was beautiful. If you want complete privacy, this is the cabin for you. Can see no other cabins, is about 10-15 minutes to town. VERY steep driveway. It was scary going up and down in dry weather so definitely need 4x4 in winter. Was disappointed that the fireplace didn't work and satellite for upstairs TV did not work. The only downfall to this cabin is gameroom is above master bedroom so if kids stay up late playing then it is pretty noisy in bedroom below.

Heavenly bear cabin is amazing
Absolutely a perfect place to stay to unwind after a long hot week at Alabama softball world series. From cleanness, to comfy relaxing beds, with a stunning scenic view- our family loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer and already planning on returning. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Secluded Getaway
Communication and Check-In were seemless. The cabin is located down a very steep, paved driveway - so be prepared. The cabin itself is tucked away down amongst the trees, so you don’t see any other cabins. The amenities were sufficient and the hot tub was very nice. King size bed in the main suite and door in bath leading to the wrap-around porch. Pool table upstairs was also a nice plus. We didn’t have cell service and the WiFi was a bit slow, so watching Netflix for example was a no-go. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and total seclusion, this is your place. We had a wonderful stay.
