The greatest thing about this property is the space. We had room to spread out so we weren't on top of each other all week. Nice sitting areas and table space for meals, games, and a puzzle. We were there July 4th week and it was so hot that we didn't get out much. We enjoyed the river bank, watching my brother fish, sitting on the porch in the cooler early mornings, and we used the grill for July 4th. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked great meals inside as well.
We didn't come to the area for the attractions. We came for a convenient location between our various homes. We were shocked by the amount of traffic coming in and out of Pigeon Forge on the parkway. A couple of pointers for other out of towners: we found there is a Kroger just on the other side of the Publix. The Kroger is 30-50% cheaper than the sticker shock of Publix. We picked out a restaurant and arrived to find it had just changed to Honduran cuisine. We took the chance and found it was fresh and delicious - we recommend El Campa Catracho. Away from the traffic and crowds, we found the Seymour Grille which is a short drive into Seymour TN. Great homecooked food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and great staff and manager.
If your family needs a landing space after a day at the theme parks, or just a place to relax, we recommend this rental. Easy to book, easy check out too.
