2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. You'll notice our cabin in Townsend will be included in that. (Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything on the screen)

Great communication w Justin. Loved the location with great views. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were close but we were in a nice quiet location. The house was very clean and plenty big for the 5 of us.

The place was is being updated as it goes. The kitchen cabinets need drawer pulls and some cabinet handles. We had some minor issues and the service staff helped quickly. In general we had a great time.

We really enjoyed staying at Palmer’s place! There were 4 of us.. my husband and I along with brother and sister in law. Great views of mountains. House was clean and decorated pretty. Outside of city life but close to Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge area.

Nice location and quiet
House is located in a great location if you like quiet like we do. Overall it was a great stay for 5 days . We had 8 people total and were all comfortable. We only had towels and wash clothes for each person for one night, so we had to do laundry every night. Not a deal breaker by any means , but could have been better supplied. Property could use some tinder love and care outside as far as trimming bushes and trees that were overhanging onto deck. With the little issues we had , it was overall a great place to stay and would definitely go back again if in the area.

Location was great, only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed the cabin, very quiet area. We loved the “man cave” just wish it was attached to the house. The host were very quick to respond with any questions we had. Thank you so much 😊

Location 10/10 close to everything. An all you can eat breakfast & winery at the end of the road. We went for my birthday trip with another family to soaky mountain which was about 20 minutes. It was clean, comfy beds, garage was a huge hit!!! Only down fall was in two of the bedrooms there was no tv. With kids, that was the only issue. Would definitely rent again though!

Great property and location
From the time we arrived at the cabin, everything was just perfect. We were celebrating both of our son's graduating from college and this was the perfect weekend and the perfect place for us. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable... and the location of the cabin was perfect for all the things we wanted to do on our trip. From the moment that I booked the cabin, communication with the host was just what it needed to be to make sure we had what we needed, and also knew what to expect during our stay. I highly recommend this property... having a cup of coffee on the back deck in the morning and getting to watch the sunrise over the hills is just a sight to see. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Never again!
First of all place very dirty... carpet almost black in some places. Walls need to be repaint. We want to make barbecue but two gas containers were empty. I went to gas station I had to.pay from my pocket $35 for gas tank and owner replyed that he don't care about it because there was no information in description that he provide gas!!!! So I'm asking, why he putting is putting into list barbecue so there is no gas- no sens! Second day we noticed that sink in bathroom downstairs is not sinking water. I had to remove plumbing pipes to remove old hair and dirt. Never again !!! Stay away from this property if You want spend nice time in this area! ( I have pictures of things what I described )

Great Cabin!
Our family of 4 adults and 4 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was the perfect size for us, with lots of room. The hot tub was a hit, but even more the children loved exploring and playing in the open field with the small creek running through it. Lots of room for outdoor activities! Even though we did venture in and go to Dollywood one day, Pigeon Forge is not why we selected this spot (even though it was very close). More so we enjoyed the quietness of Wear's Valley and convenience of nearby Townsend. The Wear Family playground close by was an additional source of great fun. The cabin had everything we needed, and I highly recommend it for an enjoyable and relaxing family get-away.

Absolutely horrific
Nasty, disgusting- carpets looked like they have never been cleaned. Mold and mildew in the bathroooms, hair in the bed, hairs in the bathtub, baseboards filthy and walls need to be painted. I asked for my money back the 2nd night. Got the run around from the owner or management company. They blamed VRBO. Said I needed to contact yall. Anyone else would of asked for a full refund. I only asked for the 2nd night. I told them I would be mortified to of even rented a place that nasty to anyone. And if you all have control about refunding my money I would greatly appreciate you taking this into consideration. We went to celebrate a 21st birthday for my son and had to deal with this. I have pictures of all this. I have never asked for my money back. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions. Thank you

Perfect for Family or Group!
Our week at Palmer Place was great! The house is so nice, with a layout that is open and was just right for our family. Very clean and well kept. We felt quite comfortable and would highly recommend! In addition, the kids LOVED the pool room in the garage. And the adults enjoyed the hot tub, especially in the evenings. A couple observations (and these are by no means criticisms! Just for info purposes): The property is more of a house than a cabin. In fact, a few times, our kids asked when we were going to “the cabin”. Again, lovely home, just not the rustic cabin feel if that’s what you’re looking for. From the photos, it looked a bit more private than it was actually. The location is really a neighborhood, with cabins on both sides, fairly close. It was still very quiet and peaceful. And the view of the mountains from the yard is fantastic. We like to cook most of our meals in, instead of going out to eat. The kitchen is large and stocked as far as dinnerware, microwave, toaster, and coffee makers. But it is very short on cookware and kitchen towels/dish cloths. We made due, but if you plan to cook a lot, you might want to bring a skillet and a sheet pan or two. We truly enjoyed our stay and our time at Palmer Place. Justin was a great host and answered every question quickly and thoroughly. Without a doubt, we recommend this property!
