Peaceful Bluff Bungalow in The Woods

Tucked away in 27 pristine acres of shared space overlooking Lost Cove Valley, lies this tastefully decorated clifftop escape. This house boasts sleeping space for 6 guests, miles of hiking trails nearby, a private pond, and a wonderful private deck.

Kick back and relax after a day of exploring the Cumberland Plateau by settling into the 1300 square feet of living space. Equipped with fiber internet, cable, and a smart TV, you'll have plenty of comfort on rainy days.

This quaint bungalow is only a 7 minute drive to the campus of the University of the South, home of the Sewanee Summer Music Festival and the famous All Saints Chapel. It's a 14 minute drive to downtown Monteagle, a sweet Cumberland Plateau town boasting many excellent restaurants and great shopping. A quick hop on I24 and you’re only 25 minutes from The Caverns, a renowned underground venue for live music and adventure. If you're in the market for day trips to the bigger cities, we're 45 minutes to Chattanooga and 90 minutes to Nashville.

If you are unfamiliar with Sewanee and the Cumberland Plateau, the area is unparalleled in beauty and biodiversity. South Cumberland State Park spans four counties, offering miles of trails, camping and incredible waterfalls. Some of our favorite hikes include the Fiery Gizzard Trail, Grundy Lakes, and Foster Falls. Tims Ford Lake also offers fantastic fishing, boating, and water sport activities.

Perfectly Perfect Getaway
Treetop is the perfect bungalow getaway as the title states. Very clean, simply appointed with all your needs. We stayed here while moving our daughter into her dorm so unfortunately we didn’t have time to truly enjoy the deck over looking the beautiful woods (and probably the view in fall when the leaves fall), the wonderful kitchen and bbq pit. We did enjoy the many deer running about through the gorgeous 27 acres of woods surrounding the property, large new bathroom/shower and close proximity to everything the mountain has to offer! We will definitely return!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view
This was a perfect weekend getaway for us. If you want to stay in and cook your meals or head up to town a few minutes away and grab a bite. This is ideal for getting "away from it all" Would definitely recommend. And we will probably be staying here again!

Mountain Top Oasis
Being from an area between two major cities, this is what we needed. The quiet and fresh air were heavenly!! No hustle and bustle, just pure relaxation. My husband and I slept like babies. Our allergies were almost non-existant! Very Cute, Comfortable, Quaint, and Quiet bungalow. We enjoyed our visit tremendously!! Perfect getaway
Located in a beautiful area and surrounded by trees, it was a very peaceful stay. Everything appeared new/recently upgraded. Plenty of room….large bathroom with beautiful walk in shower, full size appliances and nice big tv. Has everything needed to enjoy coffee on the deck or prepare a full meal. Well appointed. Will definitely stay again.

Loved our stay!
We loved our stay at treetop bungalow! It was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Our dog loved the open space and exploring around the property. The place was new/clean and the view outside was gorgeous. The Wi-Fi didn’t work when we first got there but we contacted the owners and immediately was able to connect. Can’t wait to go back!
