"Brixham is beautiful. The property has amazing views. Shower over bath, ok ISH, but the tap leaks. It also leaks in the kitchen. No recycling and the outside bin was full to the brim. We paid extra £100 for linen and was expected to strip beds on vacating. Think this is a bit much to ask when you have to vacate at 9.30am and the fact we paid extra £100 for this service. "Really cosy cottage, lovely decorations for Xmas, great woodburner for warmth. Amazing bath and shower room. Great dog walks from the back door to various coves and beaches. "Staff were nice and friendly, the room was a set up to high standard . There was also a hairdryer which was good because it rained the night before, so could dry clothes. Lift good ! Has lots of space around the hotel. Loads of rooms , the room was really good ! I would definitely stay again ! Thank you to the staff and everyone that make this hotel fantastic! Will come again sometime in the distant future ! "

Winter Break

"The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but inside the grand high ceilings and decoration are fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room a deluxe sea view was fantastic (Rm 124) with a balcony and a view of Torbay, even from your bed. The decoration was a little tired but the room amenities were good, including separate dressing room. A small fridge would have been a nice edition though. Also we accept it is an old building but the lack of power sockets by the bedside tables was a little issue, also no USB sockets. The Spa was a little disappointing as the Steam Room was not working and Saunas are segregated but we enjoyed a lovely swim never the less. The breakfast was a fantastic choice with continental and a hot selection although if you arrived later some of the more exotic choices did not get re-filled which was a shame but the service was brilliant. Highly recommended and well worth the price with a great location only 5 mins walk from town. We will definitely be back."
