Like other reviews, the room was above subway station, supermarket, and food court where you can enjoy local dishes. The manager was always willing to take the trouble of helping me. Without him, I don't think I could have managed to get a ticket to the circus show.

Lisa and Samuel were gracious hosts. Transportation was arranged, and the driver arrived right on time to pick my husband and me up later that day. After a long flight, I needed medication for a cold. Samuel walked me to a pharmacy where he explained to the pharmacist what I needed. Additional cooking utensils were required and were promptly brought over. Access to the train station through the basement was excellent! The location was 20 to 30 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay there again when in Shanghai.

We chose Leleju based on the excellent reviews here. After having stayed there, we have to fully agree. Friendly and competent staff, nice room with all you need in the kitchenette like a microwave, convenient location with a food court at a mall right downstairs, a metro station a couple of minutes away (about 20 min. to the Bund), shops, coffee shops and a lovely pub (Knock Knock) all downstairs or nearby. We highly recommend this place.

Great communication and service. They go above and beyond. The apartment is clean and pretty much has everything you need - would’ve been nice if there were able to provide some basic ingredients like soy sauce, cooking oil, salt and sugar. But not important as there are plenty of options close by - new ones opening soon. Very convenient location as it’s a short walk from the metro. Nearby are a couple of hair salons and most importantly 2 large supermarkets and a convenience shop. Highly recommended

Leleju Apartment is conveniently located with B1 directly connected to Line 8’s Anshan Xincun subway station (open from 10 AM to 10 PM). It takes only 1–2 minutes to reach the station from the unit, and most places in Shanghai are accessible within 30–45 minutes by subway. The building is quiet, clean, and well maintained. An insulated glass door separates the B1 food court from the residential area, minimizing noise and ensuring privacy. There are several popular restaurants within a 2-minute walk, such as Suxiaoliu and Xiaoyang Shengjian. A nearby supermarket offers fresh fruits and beverages. Our one-bedroom unit was spacious compared to typical hotel rooms and well equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, washer, microwave, and high-quality slippers. The staff were friendly and responsive, reachable by phone or WeChat. Note: Leleju’s reception is on the 5th floor, separate from the main lobby.

The hosts Lisa, CiCi and Samuel are the friendliest persons ever countered 👍 Arranged airport transfer pick-up via them upon arrival as we came with the kids and had few huge luggage bags with us. Upon arrival, Samuel was there for a meet-n-greet and he led us to the apt and brief us on the introductory for Shanghai. Check-in was there at the apt and it was easy breezy. The area was very very convenient as the metro station 鞍山新村 was right beneath the apt and accessible via B1 level. Shanghai public transport is definitely a well-connected network that will bring u to ur destination of interest, coupled with 大众点评 and Amap apps usage. Disneyland, Bund and Nanjing walking street is a must-go when visiting Shanghai. If u have time, go outwards to the outer 外环 areas to experience a more local feel. Overall, the family vacay stay at Shanghai was a pleasure especially when u know there was a clean n kept accom to come home at the end of a tiring outing.

We read the reviews prior to booking which sounded real good. Unlike sone reviews which are not so accurate, Leleju Boutique Apt turns out to be 1 of the great ones equipped with amenities for cooking & laundry which is important if you’re staying longer. It’s literally connected at B1 to Metro Station Anshan Xinchun (Line 8) which makes it super convenient! Just below it, there’s a food court with good choices plus Aldi Supermarket & Hotmaxx for affordable groceries and snacks. After all the hustle & bustle, it’s nice to go back to a quieter spot. Samuel, the property manager has been really helpful and amazing throughout our stay. All in all a great combination much to our delight!

The location is fantastic- above a mall (but it’s quiet in the apartment!) and around 30 mins to People’s Square. Airport links ~1 hour by public transport. The apartment itself is equipped with all the necessities and it really is beautiful there. Most importantly, the manager of this apartment is very friendly and helpful. You could not ask for a better manager! I would highly recommend considering this apartment if you plan to stay in Shanghai.

This apartment is attached to a mall with a food court, Starbucks, nail salon, Aldis and attached to the #8 Metro. Samuel checked me in and I reached out to him a few times about which trains to connect and food necessities. He was an amazing attendant. I could see the pearl tower from my window and I used the washer in the apartment. Super convenient. I didn't give it a 5 star because the bed was super hard. But, the location was phenomenal and they sent a driver to get me at the Pudong airport.

My reservation was upgraded without a charge. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how convenient everything is. If you go downstairs by the elevator, basement level 1 has a food court with a lot of choices and No. 8 subway station entrance is right there as well. So literally you can go anywhere without having to leave the building. Although the building is right next to an open Mall, it is very quiet if you need a lot of rest. There are quite some businesses in the Mall including a grocery store "ALDI", a SPA and a Starbucks. If you go around the nearby neighborhood, you can find lots of other eateries and stores because of the population of the local residents. It is indeed a bustling place. Basically, it is within 30 mins of train ride to go to all the major attractions. The top well known university "Tong Ji University" is not that far either. Communication with staff members are also fantastic. I needed to travel light in the country and they are willing to keep my big luggage in the office for more than a week before my 2nd stay with them. This is by far the best stay I've had in Shanghai. It truly feels just like home – the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from cooking utensils to a washing machine. The heating is wonderfully warm, and the hot water comes up to temperature super quickly, making it easy to get the perfect shower. The location is convenient – there's a great restaurant right downstairs, a hair salon nearby, and the metro is just a step outside the door. Absolutely recommended, and I'll definitely be booking again on my next trip!
