Great location

The hotel is on a quiet street. walk distances to shopping centers, numerous restaurants and subway. There is a big garden with a nice coffee shop in the hotel. The room is big, but the 2 sofas in my rooms have stains, and the carpet and curtains are old.

Nice hotel in the French Concession

It is a perfect place to stay in the French Concession. Opposite side is the Shanghai Conservatory of Music... a few blocks from IAPM and Uniqlo HuaiHai branch...Quiet environment... building is some distance away from Fenyang Lu. Great place to stay.

Great location and good-sized room for the price

We liked being in the French Concession and not far from subway stop with three lines. Third person in room cost (about 23 bucks) was a lot cheaper than other hotels in area. Sheets, comforter and beds were good quality. Building is 6 floors and not huge high-rise. Go to Lost Heaven restaurant, one in French Concession and one in Bund area. Best Chinese food I've ever had. It is Yunnan folk/ Burmese cuisine.

旧フランス租界に位置するホテルで、周辺レストランとバーはたくさんあります、散歩すると気持ちはいいね〜ホテルの中に上海料理のレストランもある、とても美味しかったです。小さいガーデンもあり、小径は素敵。

Peaceful historic estate and gardens on property

Quiet, tranquil setting inside gates made it a nice respite from busy street life, several beautiful corner parks close by, but also close to shopping and expat neighborhoods and nightlife; 10 min walk to subway to peoples square.

Excellent hotel, no wonder it is often full

Really great hotel in the french concession. Well worth the money. Not weird it is often full and many weddings are done here: beautiful location and venue and yet very central to great bars and restaurants. Crawl home from Daga with Hotpot King stopover. Excellent.

Terrible Wifi and service is weak!

The hotel looks better on the presentation as it actually was. Will not stay here again. The location is great in French Concession and it is near to Element Fresh, Wagas and Dragon Fly. Wifi is terrible and the service is weak.

Nice hotel near amazing shopping center

Great service--immediately brought anything we asked for to our hotel room. Next to iapm, a large, luxurious shopping mall with amazing food for very reasonable prices and cute shops. Comfortable room; no complaints.

Location location location

I've lived in Shanghai and also been there several times on vacation. According to me this is the best area to stay in if you want to be in French Concession with its restaurants, bars, night clubs, boutiques, spas etc. No skyscrapers. This hotel is close to metro (south shanxii road). Walking distance to Jing'an Temple (2 kilometers), Xiantindi (2,5 kilometers), Tianzifang (2,5 kilometers), Yongkang road (1 kilometer). Hotel is clean, wifi is great, breakfast is bad, bathroom is nice, smells bad in elevators and common areas, beds are comfortable, staff speaks english, don't book transfer to/from the airport (super expensive, take a regular taxi). I would absolute recommend this hotel. It's not western, but it is as good as it gets for this price in Shanghai.

Ett klassiskt hotell med kinesisk tauch. Trevligt område och mycket lugnt område. Dåligt wi-fi på rummet men med lite tålamod så går det att komma in. Trevlig personal.

繁華街に近いのに、洋館のような広い庭がある落ち着いたホテル。問題は通信環境。

おそらく古くからある洋館を改装したと考えられる。石造りのお城のような立派な建物である。内装の清潔さはまあまあ。部屋は広くてよい。問題はインターネットの悪さである。朝食は地味ながら味の質が良い。

pleasant stay, highly recommend

This stay very pleasant. There is a shopping mall at the next block and it is linked to the metro. There are a lot of restaurant and bars at the block away in DONG HU road. The hotel itself looks very nice, i love it a lot. And the restaurant in the garden is awesome for afternoon tea. we had a standard room at 3/F and a balcony room at 6/F. both are spacious and clean. Bath room facilities are up to standard. beds are comfy. the only drawback is that the AC is not operating in winter (it happens everywhere in china), so I have to open the windows to make temperature suitable for sleeping.

静かなホテル

大型ホテルにはない静けさがあり、ゆっくりと時間を過ごすには最適かと思います。 場所はちょっと分かりにくいでした。 早朝にタクシーを呼ぶと、守衛のかたの対応が良かったです。

전반적으로 편안하고 무난한 호텔

호텔 입구에 큰 간판이 없어서 찾기가 좀 어려웠지만 숙박에는 편안한 호텔이었습니다. 다만 중국에서 Google이 잘 안되서 그런지 Google map을 통해서 찾아갔는데 어뚱한 곳을 알려줘서 처음에 호텔을 찾는데 좀 애를 먹었습니다. 주변 환경은 조용한 편이어어서 잠 잘때 별 문제도 없었고 호텔 방에서 WiFi를 사용할 수 있도록 기기를 나누어 주는데 덕분에 WiFi도 편하게 무료로 사용할 수 있었습니다. 다만 아침은 98위안을 줘야 하는데 한국 사람 입맛에는 보통 수준의 음식이 나옵니다
