"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."
