We were told there would be no one at the front desk but we were greeted by a lovely person who helped carry our bags upstairs and made sure we had everything we needed. Despite being above a busy restaurant it was very quiet.

Lovely house - great, light, comfortable room . Bit odd accessing via key safe and heating was not intuitive so took us a while to work out. Dinner in separate restaurant below very good.

Beautiful historic building, with modern updates in rooms. Great location. We liked easy self-check-in (arriving late we did not want to deal with scheduling check-in in advance like we had to do several times at other B&Bs and Inns elsewhere). The responses from the host were quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful building. Very clean rooms. Spa like feel to the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The only downside was that they had a live music downstairs in the evening and since our room was at the top of the stairs we could hear it quite a bit in our room. I would definitely stay again but would ask for a room further down the hall.

We felt very welcome and comfortable. Our room was well appointed and clean. The location is great and we took advantage of the verandah on the upper level. Would definitely visit again. Looking forward to seeing what Bower does with this lovely property.
