lovely old school, with some of original fixtures and fittings still there, room just fine, although there was a issue with door passes. Staff friendly and helpful, i would stay again.

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel in a very lively area of Sheffield. We stayed on a Saturday night in September, and we found the area to be too loud and busy for our taste. If you like an exciting night life, this is the place for you. We requested and got a room on the side of the building away from the central square, so by the time we went to bed it was quiet enough. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Breakfast was delicious, too.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and provided super-convenient access to the city centre. The only negative was the lack of parking and there was no guarantee that I wouldn't get a parking ticket whilst checking-in.

Despite ordering and paying for premium room, they put me in old room on first floor. Also there is no air circulation to the bedroom and qas verywarm as air conditioning hardly works despite setting to lowest temperature.
