The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. "Our group of four just stayed for a week in August and had an incredible time at this property! We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable. We were able to explore a great deal of the surrounding areas thanks to the central location, with short hops to nearby Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Chester, and of course Halifax and other great destinations. Highly recommended!"

"I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the wine region of Nova Scotia. We had the one king in the sunny bedroom and it was absolutely gorgeous! The hard wood floors were so nice and the recently remodeled bathroom was very modern, clean, and spacious. Aside from the cleanliness, comfort, and beauty of the Inn and the room we stayed in, the staff (while not always present due to the contactless check-in/out) was very responsive when I had to text about a few questions we had. They got back to me right away and were very polite and helpful in their response. You can tell they take so much pride in keeping their Inn in excellent condition and comfortable and pleasant for their guests. Additionally, the free breakfast they offered was homemade and very delicious (and I'm not a breakfast person!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I'm ever in the area again."

"Bring your groceries and leave your worries behind. This out-of-the-way vacation cottage is a great place to settle in and watch the waves. We spotted seals, eagles and fishing boats gliding past. The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. The owner is super-friendly and was reachable throughout our stay. The cottage is well-equipped and quickly feels like home. The fireplace cannot be beat on a chilly fall evening and easily made up for the lack of a TV. Cell coverage was good for us throughout our stay. A couple of things to note in the description: There are two bathrooms but only the downstairs one has a shower. The laundry in the cottage is not for guest use, though laundry service is available. We would definitely come here again."
