"Lovely cosy little rooms with fabulous view. Well appointed, with a small fridge, massive shower, and instant oats and pastries left for you in case you wanted a snack in the morning. I would recommend arriving in the daylight if possible; partly for the view but also because the car park and approach to the rooms are poorly lit. Good value for money."

"Lift wasn't working so we messaged the manager since we are in our 70s, and a tad weaker than we were in our 60s! He came in to town early to assist us with 4 heavy suitcases. THEN he drove us to the train station. Amazing! "

"The Old Post Office is easy to find from the bus station. A warm welcome from the manager and easy to follow instructions for getting in out of hours. Room is cosy and comfortable. The Old Post Office is just a 5-10 minute walk to the Minster. If you’re going to a show at the Minster, you can’t go wrong staying over at The Old Post Office. "

"Highly recommend this place to stay ,Second time we've stayed an as good as the first ,location to town,train stn & piece hall in walking distance . "Surprised and very pleased to find tea/ coffee/ sugar / dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid etc all supplied. Beds very very comfortable ❤️. Hot tub well used. If there is 1 criticism - lack of hanging space for clothes. Perhaps some sort of name sign at entrance. Drove in and out again when first arrived. Would have liked to see, only because we had 2 boys, 6 and 5 , year olds, an outdoor space for kicking ball around."

"This property was very well equipped, clean and cosy. Ideal for our weekend away as very central location for walking to Town and The Piece Hall, very cheap parking close by.
