About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Spacious home nestled in a quiet area and close to Pictured Rocks attractions.

This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath home located about 10 miles outside of Munising. Perfect for a peaceful family getaway, snowmobilers or ATV riders. There are two living areas, one would work for a separate space for kids or a small family. We do have a portable air conditioner in the family room to cool down on the hotter days. Kitchen and bathroom is fully stocked with anything you may need. Access to UTV/ATV Trails from the house. Attached is a 2 car garage and easy access into the home. It's within a couple miles of Bear Trap and Bear's Den restaurant for great meals. A quiet location, but still only a few miles to all of the Pictured Rocks sites. Nice backyard with a fire pit and a deck to enjoy the peace and quiet, away from all the hustle and bustle.

Great stay near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Great location near Pictured Rock. The house was super clean, and spacious for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens; 19, 16, and 13). The house looks exactly like in the pictures with a huge back and front lawn but doesn't have AC in all rooms. The AC unit is in the family room and the rest of the rooms have fans. We had a few hot days and it was very hot in the bedrooms. There was an ample supply of towels (thank you very much Hannah!) and all the necessary kitchenware. It also had the basics salt/pepper/sugar/coffee but bring additional spices if you need them. For some reason, I didn't receive the check-in information with the code to the lockbox but Hannah was super responsive by texts and phone and the problem was solved quickly. The cinnamon cake and homemade jelly were delicious!! The location is PERFECT for hiking/kayaking and getting to Munsing and Pictured Rock Shores. We drove to Marquette one of the days, which was about 1 hour drive.

As described
The property was as described. The weather was warm so the house was pretty warm but there is an AC unit in the lower room - and the breeze is really nice if you open the windows! The house is very nice. There is a TON of room. It was a great stay. We were in the area for a wedding but we took advantage and stayed a couple extra days to ride the ORV trails which are very easily accessed from the house. We enjoyed the bonfire pit every night. We also used the grill. The house has basically everything you will need except the food! Hannah was very easy to reach so I have no doubt if we had an issue she would have been very responsive. We had zero issues though!

Mid-Week Getaway.
As described with no suprises. A quiet location in the country. Four adults (two couples) was an easy fit. We took advantage of the home to prepare lunches for the days exploring, cook breakfast & used the grill & kitchen to make supper. Enjoyed campfires and talked about the days adventures.

Jordan's retreat was a spacious place for a family!
Jordan's retreat was a good fit for our family group of seven. The weather was hot the first couple of days and the house was too warm. Thankfully it cooled down the last couple of days. One drawback was that there were plug in air fresheners that were toxic to our sensitive family members and we had to take them out. Way too much scent in the laundry as well. If you have allergies you may want to pass on this one. There is a nice big backyard with a firepit and we enjoyed smores on our last evening there. Only one bathroom for seven people but we made it work. If you plan to cook your meals be sure to bring everything you'll need, other than salt and pepper and just a few seasonings and make sure you bring paper products. We did enjoy our time there with family, where precious memories were made!

Perfect location for Pictured Rocks
Hannah's house is a great spot from which to launch for hikes. Lots of space for a large group and very quiet! She left us some local preserves and bread, which was incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom could use some work (toilet/shower/fixtures) and make sure you bring your own toiletries. Wifi can be a little spotty in the bedrooms, but worked enough for zoom meetings when in the main room. Overall, it was a wonderful spot and we would stay again.

We loved our stay here. Renting was straightforward, the place is cozy with nice amenities, and more than anything, we loved having a bonfire and stargazing in the unspoiled sky at night. Would highly recommend!!

Strategic location
We chose this house because it was large enough to accommodate our large family with 5 kids and it's great location between Munising and Newberry. Easy day trips either direction. Pantry was bare minimum. Bring condiments and cooking spray/butter with you. Toliet paper was limited too. No pandemic joke. Older home but very spacious. We grilled and had a backyard bonfire. Very relaxing weekend.

The reservation and check in process was great. The house was very clean and everything worked very well. We had a great time visiting the area, and it was nice to have room to spread out as opposed to a small hotel room. Thank you!

Clean, large home, lots of extras
This was a great place for us to stay while we Road side by sides on the trail. The trail was just down the road so we didn’t need to trailer our machines anywhere. The garage was awesome to store our machines during our stay. Off the garage is the 2nd living room that looks like it was probably a garage at one point and redone. In that living room are 3 couches, a twin bed, and a trundle bed. There is also a Smart TV so you can watch netflix if you have an account. There is wifi and it was awesome because our cells didn’t have service so we were able to call using WiFi. Next you walk into the dining room. There is a small laundry room with a washer and dryer. There was even some laundry soap for us to use but we brought our own. The dining table seats 6 and then there are 2 stools at the counter. The kitchen is smaller but it was feasible. There was dishwasher soap and dish detergent for us to use too. There were ice trays in the freezer as well. The Norma living room was large and there was a ceiling fan. There were 2 couches and 2 chairs and a tv in the living room. Down the hall there were 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom on the right had a double bed and a couch that folded down too. The next bedroom on the right had a king bed. The bedroom on the left had a set of bunks (double on the bottoms and twin on the top). Each room had a fan if you needed. There was one bathroom with a tub shower and a toilet. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Off the dining room is a back deck with a table and chairs. By the fire pit there were also chairs. It was very clean and Hannah was very easy to work with. She left great instructions for us. We would definitely stay there again (any season) and recommend anyone to stay there as well.

Great Place and Location
We came to the area to enjoy the outdoors around Munising. This cabin offered the excellent spot to do so. It is centrally located to the pictured rocks national lakeshore. It is also only a short drive into munising to enjoy Grand Isle and the amenities that Munsing has to offer. The house has everything needed. The wifi is fast. It is in a quiet area where you can enjoy building a fire in the back. The owner has great communication. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay.
