"This was our second stay at Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel in less than a month. Our first stay was over NYE and there was local 8.30pm fireworks the reserve directly across the road which was a lovely surprise. Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel is great accommodation choice for a young families as the rooms are comfortable, have a kitchenette and air-conditioning. "We took a last minute decision for a trip up to the sunny coast hinterland and dropped on this lovely spot. Booked it up the day prior and turned up late afternoon. Great spot to take an amble around, abundant wildlife and we spent the night in one of the well equipped studios. Greeted on arrival by he friendly owners and were taken to the room. Definitely recommend the lodge to any fellow travellers. Five stars. "

"Only stayed for 1 night for a wedding in the area, so was only there to sleep really. However the unit was large and was equipt with everything you would need for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable and place was very clean and tidy. Interection with host was easy and prompt also."

"A unique property at the end of the road surrounded by woods. Birds and kangaroos frequent the property. Clean magnesium salt pool. Walking trails. Somewhat rustic, off the grid, but well-maintained. Friendly owner. If you want to "get away from it all", this is the place to go."

"The view from my spacious and clean motel room was inspiring. Infinity and beyond. Handy to travel to Maleny township, Mary Cairncross Park and to Montville. I was there for an overnight stay in-between work commitments but would stay again with no hesitation. In fact, am looking forward to doing so again. "

"We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 45 anniversary. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels. A nice touch was the fresh bread, butter and condiments for breakfast. Being a Sunday night the only place open was the pub for dinner but wow what a dinner that was. The best meal we have had in a long time."
