"This was our second stay at Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel in less than a month. Our first stay was over NYE and there was local 8.30pm fireworks the reserve directly across the road which was a lovely surprise. Tin Can Bay's Sleepy Lagoon Motel is great accommodation choice for a young families as the rooms are comfortable, have a kitchenette and air-conditioning. "We are a family with two young children and we stayed for 7 nights. We had fabulous time, so clean, quiet and convenient. Everything we needed was either already in the room or literally a 60 seconds walk to the local extremely well stocked IGA. Debbie is effortlessly accomodating and friendly, that’s just her nature, no pretence. All other staff, Tina and her partner and furry friend and Barbara are beautiful too. The natural beauty in Rainbow beach is probably difficult to rival...

"Only stayed for 1 night for a wedding in the area, so was only there to sleep really. However the unit was large and was equipt with everything you would need for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable and place was very clean and tidy. Interection with host was easy and prompt also."

"A unique property at the end of the road surrounded by woods. Birds and kangaroos frequent the property. Clean magnesium salt pool. Walking trails. Somewhat rustic, off the grid, but well-maintained. Friendly owner. If you want to "get away from it all", this is the place to go."
