I originally had a great impression of this hotel but now I have less favorable view. Good: -Nice onsen -clean rooms -close to train station and attractions Bad: -cleaning staff are EXTREMELY loud in the morning, slamming things around the hallway and talking loudly at 8am every morning...don't they think guests want to sleep in on vacation? -I asked front desk to order me a FIXED RATE taxi to the airport the night before I left. I asked them in both Japanese and English. My taxi was late and used the meter, not fixed rate. The hotel staff clearly did not order me the correct taxi. -they put the laundry machines directly next to the smoking room...so that your clean clothes immediately smell like smoke? -the dryer doesn't really work. I ran it 3 times and my clothes were still wet -the dryer explodes with lint/dust every time you open the door. All my clothes were dustier than before I did laundry.

"Ok, when we first arrived we were a little worried. The hotel is old and the room was a little tight with 4 sleeping mats on the floor BUT by the end of our 3 night stay we really enjoyed our stay. The onsen is lovely and that really made the stay, along with the staff who were eager to help with ..."
