"We love this lodge and come here a few times a year. My kids love swimming in the pool and my husband and i love watching from the spa or sweating it out in the sauna. The breakfast is good and rooms are comfy. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much and wished we had spent more time there. We went biking, swimming, hiking, played golf and relaxed around the fire pit. The house had an incredible rustic feel but with high end amenities that we expect in the Sun Valley area. Everything worked perfectly including every single light bulb which is rare for most rental properties. We liked that the house was just a 2 minute drive to fly fishing on the big wood river and much closer to Silver Creek than houses in Ketchum, Elkhorn or Sun Valley. Our group was very pleased with the beds which were much more comfortable than typical high end SV rental properties even better than those at higher prices. "We are a party of four, two grandmas and two grandkids, who stayed at the Cary farmhouse for four nights in July. The house was perfect for our needs; spacious, providing both personal space and gathering space. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals. The house was clean and comfortably furnished, beds included! We were in the area primarily for a school reunion but also visited Craters of the Moon, Shoshone Ice Caves, and Silver Creek Preserve, all easy drives from the house, and worth visiting. Ember, the host, was a good communicator, letting us know to buy groceries before arriving and responding to questions quickly. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "

"We stayed here while attending a family reunion in town. We have a big family so it was nice to find a quiet place to stay nearby. The place was very clean and well stocked with all we needed for our stay. I also appreciated that it was surprisingly cool inside despite it being 100+ degrees outside in July. The host was very helpful. We hope to stay again."

"Property was as described and very well stocked. The only issue is the state of the electrical service with extension cords used to provide electrical connections, and lack of sufficient outlets and ground faults."

"Truly, this is a wonderful home to choose for most anyone. Very well kept, great bedrooms and that kitchen is amazing! We really enjoyed being able to go for a walk next to the creek. Just a heads up for anyone visiting for a tournament where you have no idea if you will need a late checkout or not. They require 24 hour notice and hockey tournaments more often than not, you would not know that early hence requiring an extra hundred for that guarantee you could get a few more hours that you might not even need. If this matters to you, hotels are more flexible on this. I will check policies in the future before booking for a tournament. Also, we are accustomed to being able to reach the owners to ask bout potential flexibility on this policy but VACASA (who it is available thru) does not permit that so that was not helpful. Other than that, given no tournaments or anything that might give cause for late checkout without knowing 24 hours in advance, I would highly recommend this place. It was really wonderful!"

"There were seven in our party, 3 adults and children from 11-18. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals for the whole party—-best we have had compared to many other places! The home was well equipped with plenty of towels and paper products. We really enjoyed the fireplace which was ready to use. The great room was comfortable for all of us to play games and the location is within easy driving distance of Sun Valley for skiing. We would happily use the property again."
