This beautiful 2 bed/ 2 bath Lake-house sits on the shores of White Mountain Lake. Great view from the lakehouse
House has two upstairs bedrooms, one for adults and one for kids. Downstairs has accommodations for another family to sleep and relax privately from those upstairs. Both levels have views and porches facing the lake. Small, but functional, kitchen. Downstairs needed some airing out as it was a little musty but not bad. House has lots of movies for use, fishing gear, and the pedal oat was a perk.

Lakehouse in White Mountain / Show Low
The furniture upstairs was old and worn, carpet stains throughout, tile floor left our feet very dirty as if it had not been mopped /cleaned in quite a while, lack of proper screens on the door allowed hundreds of flying gnats inside, mismatched dishes with horrible pots and pans that burned eggs. The fan in the small room that I asked to get fixed so it wouldn't fall down was not fixed; the speed was turned down so it wouldn't wobble so much-I hope you didn't pay that handyman! The shear fact that the wifi was completely unstable and we had to stream the Olympics over our tablets was unacceptable. Overall, the entire stay was horribly disappointing and if we could have found another place to stay in such short notice, we would have moved - even with the 3 night refund from the owner for poor wifi and inaccurate website description about access to a garage to park a car. The property manager for this property needs to be honest with the owner about simple guest expectations with respect to proper and nice furnishings for guest enjoyment, as i could go on about how bad this place was. TWO THUMBS DOWN. On a good note: The view was great, and we appreciated the fact that the dogs had a nice little yard.

Weatger was perfect but property could have been cleaner, kids beds had no pillow cases, floors were filthy. As well as master bedroom comforter dirty, tv down stairs broken. Communication with property manager wasnt easy but did respond in a timely manner

Great Location
We had a wonderful vacation at the Lake House. We did encounter an uninvited guest. Cute little guy we named Ben. I purchased a couple of mouse traps that did the job. Sorry Ben. Since the garage was not available, suggest pavestones be placed from driveway to entrance steps. Easier for we old folks to traverse. We would rent it again.

Great getaway!
The property was as it was advertised. We really enjoyed our stay. Purpose was to get away from the heat of the valley and we did just that the days were still hot but 20° cooler than back in Phoenix. The nights were perfect. The night skies were beautiful and uncluttered by city lights. We were even treated to the 4th of July fireworks in ShowLow from the distance. I’m certain that next summer’s heat in the valley will bring us back to White Mountain lake again.

We had an amazing weekend away at this beautiful cabin near the lake. Only about a 10 min drive to down town Show low and Taylor. Very peaceful and quiet. My wife and I had a great time!

The house is super cute and right next to the water which was really nice and perfect for the walk we took. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs). The living room downstairs has 2 pull out couches which would have to be shared in one room. The kitchen has no Tupperware so if you plan to cook and have leftovers there is nothing to store it in. The king bed is super comfy. The couches upstairs recline which is great.for relaxing and watching a movie, which there are plenty dvds and disney+ available. Both porches/yard are nice and equipped with furniture. The grill doesn't work which was disappointing but we managed to broil our food and it worked out. Overall. This is a great place if it's a small family but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 4 adults. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary with our 2 labs who experienced stairs for the first time (hilarious btw) and the cabin was absolutely perfect for that!

Great experience but...
The house was absolutely lovely and the remoteness of the area was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, we were unable to take full advantage of the experience because there were three large wasp/hornet nests around the front and back areas, which basically left the outdoor areas unusable for us and our young son until around dusk, when the wasps/hornets eventually went to sleep for the night. We'd still recommend the rental, but it was a very big bummer. (Also the clock above the sink fell on my wife while she was doing dishes. Just a heads up.)

Nice little lake house.
We had a great stay. Great location far enough from town but close enough if you need something. Lake was brown, it was cool and rainy for the first couple days so we didn't catch any fish. Very quiet area. We saw 3 boats and a canoe on the lake the 3days we were there. Only complaint I really have is the add says there is cable TV, there is no cable. They have plenty of movies and Disney+, we had to sign in for streaming services. All in all it is a nice place and we plan on staying again in the future.

Quiet, comfortable and scenic
The 2 story lake home was quiet and we enjoyed having morning breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. The home is in a quiet area and we only used the main level. It was clean, stacked with everything we needed for cooking and bathing. It had cable, a great variety of movies to watch and board games to play (not that we used it). Nice outdoor backyard for dogs to stretch their legs or bbq. My only 2 complaints would be the beds in the main bedroom were hard/very firm and that the Property mgmt left instructions to remove all bedding/towels/rags and throw them in the washer and start a load. We were also required to remove all trash. I don't understand why they required us to do the maid's work especially since we paid a cleaning fee.

A Birthday Celebration!
The home was easy to locate. Cleanliness and organization very good. Our dog was delighted in the lake and napping under a tree. We barely left the house for our four day stay. Relax, take walks, read, music.....no responsibilities! Others that we know have stayed here and liked it just as much.

So only had a couple complaints in my head until the last day. Pillows on the beds were let's say minimalistic. But then found the additional pillow stash downstairs! Unloading of the car was quite the exercised, but then realized we could have used the garage. Should have done more looking around - that would have made our stay that much better. All and all, we will be back. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck - both upper and lower. Access to the lake was great and we used the paddle boat to tool around. Recommend this place.

This was our second stay at the house. It wasn’t as clean as we would like it but still was an enjoyable stay. I accidently left a firearm at the house and Celeste was A great help to get it back to me. We will be back in spite of the brutally windy days.

Tips for a 5 star review
This home was smoked in. A lot. Yellow smoke detectors and foul cigarette smell lingering. Carbon monoxide detector broken and taped together, this should be illegal in a propane run home, also yellow from cigarette smoke. Not even a glade plug in to attempt to cover it up. Had to go to the small store down the road to find some sort of air freshener to make it tollerable. 2 hand towels per bathroom for a 3 night stay. Unable to use the main TV or get an answer from management for the pin number. The bed situation is odd and the mattresses are unacceptable for $125 a night rental. The brown lake does not make up for any of this. While I appreciate the low fees here, I respectfully disagree with having to do dishes with no sponges and do laundry. That's what the fee is for. I find it disturbing that the previous occupants were responsible for washing the dishes with either the old sponge under the musty sink or no sponge at all. This is gross. There is bugs in the light fixtures. Hundreds of bugs. This place is not clean and I would not personally rent another one of your rentals nor recommend one to anyone else. Thank you.

The layout of the unit was very nice and we enjoyed the location immensely. The unit had everything we needed to have an enjoyable getaway. The use of the pedal boat was an added bonus. There were some minor issues/amenities that could be improved, which we forwarded to the management company. Overall, it was a nice, quiet visit.

Anneversary Weekend
House is right on the lake, and has a very relaxing view of the lake inside or on one of 2 patios. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. However, there were 2 things that could have been better: 1) We brought steaks to grill and enjoy the outside being by the lake, but the propane tank was empty. We ended up broiling them, but it wasn't the same. 2) The beds upstairs are single beds in both bedrooms, and the downstairs have pullouts in the couches. We decided pullout couch mattresses are uncomfortable, so we decided to push 2 of the singles together. Not a big deal, but one would think one of the bedrooms would have a King or at least a queen.
