"What an incredible week we had at Brockhurst Cottage number 3. Cooking on the Aga, watching the snow falling outside, wine in front of the fire and walks in the country was just what we needed for some R & R. The cottage is well appointed with everything a family needs and has all the quirks of a quintessential English cottage. "I booked the cottage for family members visiting over Christmas and was delighted w my choice. The house itself is beautifully appointed and has been sympathetically extended. It was a pleasure to welcome my travel weary relatives into such a warm and restful space. Everything went smoothly from the minute I contacted the host through the cpl of amendments made and then the key pickup. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hosts to anyone visiting the town."

"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"

"Very sweet little cottage, ingeniously fitted with everything we needed for a short stay. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and look round the grounds, seeing the other cottages. The only drawback with the Old Post Office is its nearness to the main road: in hot weather one might want to open the windows for air - but then the noise also."

"There were 20 of us from 17-93 for this 70th birthday weeklong celebration. The house was beautiful, very well appointed and although grand felt like home. Plenty to enjoy in the lovely grounds - tennis matches/ croquet / hot tub under the stars. Very helpful housekeeper swiftly tackled any minor issues. We had the most amazing time."
