"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"Wir haben dort eine schöne Herbstwoche verbracht. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Wanderziele, die Schweiz ist nah, wen es in die Großstadt zieht, Basel, Zürich und Winterthur sind leicht erreichbar. Ein uriger Gasthof ist um die Ecke, weitere Restaurants sind leicht erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und werden noch einmal zurückkehren. "

"Get the 521 bus from the airport and it's 5 minutes walk down a main road. The footpath from the airport is over a mile and secluded - no thanks I arrived after 8 (when they close so had to ask for entry codes to door and room key locker , but all good). Room perfect for basics ' quiet, clean, secure' and breakfast was good. Bar downstairs good too. "

Fabulous ambience and helpful staff

"Absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Helpful and knowledgeable staff at check in, and above and beyond helpful when I checked out (I needed a European adapter and a place to work and the receptionist went and found me one - with a massive smile and happy disposition). I booked a King room for 1 person and was upgraded to a corner room with a view when I joined the Hyatt membership at the check in desk (took about 60 seconds to do!). What a lovely room too ... a weird shape as the building has angular corners, but that added to the character of the room. Every facility you could need is catered for and carefully stowed to keep the aesthetic look of the room clean and minimalistic. A lovely space for a single person or two people with not too much luggage. I can't say enough about the bar staff as they were so friendly and willing to have a conversation (I was on my own - female - on business). I guess the food is not what you would expect of a restaurant in a hotel as it is more like cafe food, but with an upmarket twist. Most of the items on the menu resemble burgers and wraps,but the fillings are far nicer than any you would get at a cafe. There are also many restaurants in very close proximity in The Circle area, spoilt for choice! It's a little walk from the exit at Zurich airport, and if I hadn't been so tired from walking nearly 2 miles in one day from one flight to another - via Munich :-( then it would not have bothered me in the slightest. "

Capsule Hotel - Alpine Garden Zurich Airport

"I had a 17 hour layover Zurich so I was looking for someplace to “crash” for a bit. This place fit the bill. It is essentially located in the airport so it was very convenient for an early flight the next morning. It was extremely clean and welcoming. The capsules are surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. There is a lounge area with couches, tables, games, as well as a small bar. It is also close (walking distance) to the many dining options of the airport and train station (including a large supermarket). If you want to explore the Zurich city center it is just a short train ride (~15 minutes) there. Mind you, if I was staying in Zurich for more than one night I would have stayed at a regular hotel. However, if you just need a place to crash at an inexpensive price this place is it."

"We recently stayed at the Intercity Hotel Zurich Airport and had a fantastic experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any request. The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night's sleep. The location is perfect for travelers—just a short shuttle ride from the airport and well-connected to Zurich’s city center. Despite being near the airport, the soundproofing was excellent, and I had no issues with noise. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a delicious and varied selection of fresh food to start the day right. Overall, We highly recommend the Intercity Hotel Zurich Airport for anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and great service. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!"
