"Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all night!"

"This was an overnight stay. It was easy to find and there was a convenient car park. Our host answered the door immediately and showed us up the room. It is a very old building with beams and sloping floors and has lots of character. The room was comfortable and warm. We had our evening meal in a pub called The Canon Inn in the village which was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."
