"We had a very enjoyable stay at Montjustin. Gisele is the perfect host - friendly and welcoming, available if needed. Nature is very much on the doorstep - animals, birds, insects and flowers, surrounded by lovely countryside, which was easy to explore from the house. Great views from the swimming pool. Thank you for the eggs :-) We were sad to say goodbye to Februs the dog!"

Only issue was no tablets or rinse aid for the dishwasher which would have been useful for the visitor coming from abroad. "Definitely rustic! There is no air conditioning, so on days with little breeze you will want to close the shutters on the sunny side and be in the pool. There are two buildings separated by a covered patio, so plenty of privacy for couples. Our family of 9 was not at all crowded. The property is far enough from town that cell service was spotty at best. The only issue we faced was the internet was out (animal damage to the line!) and it took several days for the "cable guy" to get there....

"It was very nice. The outdoor space and pool We’re great and the unit was very clean. We were surprised the unit was attached to owners home as it was advertised as private. There were some things that we would have considered ‘essentials’ that were not provided - like towels, extra garbage bags, dish and hand soap, extra toilet paper. The owner clarified that these were not listed as included, so if you are staying here we would recommend bringing extra supplies from a larger town."

"Lovely property with excellent staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us have an amazing experience. Only criticism was that there was a large wedding that overtook and closed the restaurant and bar over several days, which meant we often had to eat in our room. Valet parking and breakfast included in the rate was a nice perk. "

Perfect week with friends at Goult House

"We were a group of three girlfriends celebrating our 65th birthdays with a holiday en Provence. We stayed at Goult House for one week in October 2024. This property is exactly as described. It is a spacious house with a large kitchen, dining room and living room. The bedrooms are also big and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to work in. The view from the upper bedroom balcony is spectacular. There are not views from the pool area, but is it lovely nevertheless. As our stay was in October, we didn't spend a lot of time around the pool, but as the pool was still open, one brave friend had a quick dip. We are Canadian! It was helpful to have sinks in most rooms and showers in some. We were just 3 people, so having two toilets to share worked just fine for us. Beatrice was very easy to reach and attentive to our needs. She was a pleasure to deal with both before and during our stay. The house is right in the village, just a few minutes walk to the village square. There is a short hill, but it is not too steep. There are some very nice restaurants in the village, a good little grocer with fresh fruits and vegetables, a bakery, a cheese shop, and a butcher. Goult is a lovely, quiet little village and not busy like some of the most popular villages in the area. There are no tour buses in Goult. We would highly recommend a stay at this property. It was everything we hoped for. Thank you, Beatrice for the wonderful stay at your property! "

Exceptional, luxurious resort?

"Whatever your expectations for a five star luxury hotel, this property exceeded them. We have never been treated so personally, so warmly, and so professionally. From the minute, we arrived by car, they expected us, handled the check-in, and moved us to the front desk, where we were welcomed personally. Our rooms and all of the many restaurants, spa experiences, and views were exceptional. Above all, the concierge service was fantastic from advising us before our stay, during our stay, to offering us navigation For our departure. I would highly recommend this property or any in the Arielle family of luxury resorts. We departed with welcome gifts that we will cherish forever. The only downside was having to compare our next hotels to La Bastide de Gordes!"
