The first time I went to Anchor House, I was snapped up by the ocean and the sky. This exceptional property enjoys a breathtaking Caribbean Sea view, open outlook, from the sea at your feet extending through every shade of turquoise and true blue to the far horizon.
I fell immediately in love with this property. Bathing in the saltwater mirror pool, facing the ocean, was the icing on the cake. I was ready to go in 5mn walk to Maho where many gourmet restaurants offer great menus. I also found luxury boutiques, art galleries, bars and casino, hairdresser, drugstore, supermarket, as well as a fabulous spa, an 18-hole golf course and a choice of nearby beaches. Finally, I stopped to the well known Sunset Grill & Bar to savor a cocktail”.

Anchor House is situated in the residential area of Beacon Hill, quiet oasis of luxury and elegance on the shore of the Caribbean Sea.
As many press articles describe it the residence designed as an extension of the natural environment is built directly on the rock to become an integral part of the cliff.

The clean architectural line of this apartment combines timeless elegance and avant-garde style. Generously open to the outside, the east-west orientation ensures to appreciate natural light with excellent exposure and unforgettable sunsets.

This modern apartment, designed, furnished and decorated with artworks by international artists and designers famous offers a living area of 3200 sq Ft, 3 king-sized bedrooms with bathroom “en-suite” and dressing. Each room has an area of 270 sq Ft all with bathroom “en-suite”, the master bedroom offers a drop down ceiling TV, a large dining-living room with open modern kitchen, 3 private underground parking spaces are served by lift. The high ceilings of 10 Ft with built-in light and the flush-to-wall doors add an exquisite touch to the modernism of the concept.

The covered terrace accommodates a dining table and a living area of white and grey modern design.

The 1300 sq Ft terrace hosts a saltwater mirror pool built on the reef of the Caribbean Sea.
If you are lucky you will experience the passage of visiting whales.

Additional information: The owner offers service cleaning every two days in addition to the check-out cleaning and the condominium has a back-up Generator to face the current electrical cuts encountered on the Dutch side of the island.

The property was awesome. The view was absolutely breath taking. The neighborhood's proximity to various restaurants and shops made it highly convenient for us to explore the area on foot. However, we encountered a slight inconvenience during rainfall, as the roads tended to flood, necessitating transportation to exit the neighborhood. Additionally, we noticed a presence of ants in the property, particularly in the dishwasher, on the counters, and in the kitchen area. While this could be bothersome initially, we gradually became accustomed to it over the course of a few days. Another matter of note is that the owner resides in close proximity to the villa. On one particular morning, we were somewhat startled to observe him walking around the pool area without prior notice. Other than that the trip was fantastic and would book again. The property manager was awesome! Always available for any questions we had. We would book again!

Just WOW
This property is simply stunning. Very clean. Safe area. Walkable to restaurants, bars, markets and the beach, however we did rent a car. Property manager Stacey was amazing. The pictures are spot on for this property and we are booking again in the coming months! I was a little worried that sometimes you aren’t sure what you are booking but this was amazingly perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

What a gorgeous home and view! Everything was seamless and Stacey was incredibly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and getting our excursions set up. The infinity pool and back deck is fabulous. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend! We would definitely go back.

Fun and sunny
Our arrival process was great. I texted Stacey the property manager and the communication was great. It was a beautiful property. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunset. It was like we were on a ship in the ocean! Enjoyed seeing the airplanes coming in also. They were not loud. The beds were comfortable also.

This condo was in an excellent location! The home was very secure/safe. The communication was always outstanding from booking through check out. The home is spacious and well appointed. Wonderful ocean front condo
Our family of five adults had a wonderful stay at the oceanfront condo. The location was great and the condo was well appointed, comfortable, modern, and clean. The infinity pool overlooked the ocean and it was nice hearing the waves all day. The island is small enough to visit other beaches and restaurants, on both sides. It was easy to rent a car and navigate the island. We enjoyed spending the late afternoons outside on the patio and in the pool watching the sailboats pass and the beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway
Beacon Hill is everyone it says and more. From its location close to the airport, restaurants, shops and casino to its amazing view of the Caribbean, you couldn't ask for more. Beacon Hill is very spacious, and Stacey and John could not have been more accommodating. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning back here soon!

This is an amazing property, beautiful modern finishes, fully functioning kitchen, excellent outdoor living space. Property management and cleaning staff are excellent and very accommodating. Highly encourage arranging a chef for an evening meal, it was spectacular. This place is well worth the money. We will be back!

The property is even better in person! The view is breathtaking! I enjoyed my stay at the house and everything was clean. The rooms were huge, the pictures don't do it justice. The only thing that was horrible was the wifi; phone service wasn't the best either, but it didn't put a damper on the trip whatsoever. The host and staff were great, especially Stacey!

Beautiful View
This property was located in an area that made it easy to walk to some places (Sunset beach & Maho area) and easily access other areas by car. The view from the deck was spectacular! The condo was a perfect set up for three couples. Each couple had their own lovely bedroom with an ensuite washroom. For a rental property at this price point, one would expect better quality linens. The other downside to the condo was the lack of comfortable furniture. The owner was very nice and so was Stacey who greeted us upon arrival. Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. Overall, this was a lovely spot to spend our week! Thank you for having us John.

Spectacular Waterfront Property
Where do we begin. You walk in to this property for the first time to a breath-taking panoramic ocean view over the infinity edge pool and you relax immediately. In addition to comfort and relaxation, this well appointed property will make it hard to leave. But should you choose, there are 3 beaches within walking distance. Equally nice is the walking distance restaurants and grocery store. It’s all right there. Don’t let the map location fool you, the airport is close enough for ease of access but you simply do not hear planes unless you strain, and you have to be outside to hear them at all. You will enjoy this paradise, I only hope as much as we did. Strongest recommendation we can give. Thanks Gwen and John for a fabulous stay.

Best view in St. Maarten!
The view from the patio was stunning and was a great location to see all the planes landing in the nearby airport. You really couldn’t ask for more from the infinity pool to the sound of the crashing waves. It was simply the best view in St. Maarten and we looked forward to returning to the condo after day trips to the beach. I would definitely book this condo again in the future. Thank you Jonathan for your prompt responses and being so accommodating. It was very kind of you to allow us to check out a couple of hours late (due to our late flight) and thank you again for dropping off the beach umbrella and the beach chairs to use at beaches. One negative impression I have was with Stacey, the concierge. She was not at the house when we arrived and then she was there for barely 2 minutes to drop off the key and left so quickly that I didn’t even get to meet her. We had to figure out everything for ourselves. Some text messages to Stacey were replied the next day and some even went unanswered when asked about needing more supplies. Overall, the view from the patio will live in your dreams and have you looking for every excuse to return to the Anchor House!

Beautiful
This house was everything!! The views are unbeatable and the location is fantastic. I traveled there for my 30th birthday with my boyfriend and 2 other couples and there was plenty of space. We had an amazing time. Stacey the property manager was very responsive and was able to assist with everything. Only a few things to be aware of, they are very strict about the rules. No loud music (which can be subjective) and no visitors. I also wanted to bring in a decorator to do balloons and I was told no. They also helped me plan couples massages at the house, but if you take this option be sure they are couples massages because the masseuse arrived and 5 of us had to get massages at once, slightly awkward. Lol We also had some issues getting the proper amount of wash cloths needed, and although we were told they were going to bring them, they never arrived. All in all, we still had an amazing time. And this view is everything!

Very lengthy review!!
This was a family trip and my family and I were hoping that our experience at this house would be wonderful, but it was not. Before arriving, the property manager reached out with information about where the house was located and what time we should check in. Although we were given location, we were never given the full address or the door code to get into the complex, so our driver had to continuously drive around and call the property manager to ask for that information. 15-20 minutes later the property manager came and introduced herself to us, let us know that the property had just been cleaned that day and that the cleaning lady would come every two days to make sure the house was cleaned for us. We acknowledged and thanked her for letting us onto the property earlier than the time they allowed folks to check-in! Soon after the property managed left, myself and my guests began to wipe down the counter tops in the kitchen and noticeably saw dirt coming off on our Clorox wipes, which indicated that the place was not fully cleaned that day. We experienced an infestation of ants and saw a humongous cockroach crawling inside of the property while we were there. The cleaning lady never came to clean until the last day that we were there. The microwave did not work properly, the coffee maker machine was disgustingly dirty and the espresso machine was broke.The property manager knew all of this and promised to have someone come and fix the these things, but no one ever came.
