Had an excellent stay! The rooms are very nice and great amenities. The staff are also all very great, we had a seamless check in and we even got some tips and recommendations.

I was there just for one short overnight stay, but I was really impressed with the hotel. Very comfortable, very clean and the staff were great. And the breakfast was excellent! You can order from an "ala carte buffet" menu which is kind of interesting, and all the items I ordered -- from typical Western bakery items and egg dishes to spicy Laksa -- were outstanding. Definitely consider this property when choosing a hotel in the area!

Absolutely loved The Standard in Singapore. Location is great and the propert is impeccable. The pool is such a tranquil spot - long for laps and swim up bar is a nice touch. Although the rooms were small- which I knew when I booked- the design The Standard is know for shines through in the private spaces. Loved the whole room set up and didn’t feel lack at all. The ONLY improvement I would suggest is providing a more hefty/stable pillow. The pillows were too soft:-)

The Standard has just opened and I loved its whole design vibe. I had a room on the 8th floor with a full window view, zany design, good room service. I wished I could have stayed longer. The only downside is that it's not yet on Google Maps so the taxi had difficulty finding it.

Staff were excellent. Windows were soundproofed, however the doors were not. Meaning you could hear any noisy neighbours. Lovely quirky hotel, but like much of Singapore, the food and drinks were quite expensive. Outdoor space and pool were wonderful.

Loved my stay at The Standard in Singapore. Location is great - on a more peaceful road near to the bustling Orchard Road. Spacious and functional room with a huge, comfortable bed and great view. Cool lobby and general aesthetic throughout. Only “downsides” were no safe in the room and restaurant/bar service stopped at 11pm.

The hotel is very stylish and has a nice pool with pretty sunbeds. The rooms are spotless clean but i was shocked the standard rooms we’re so tiny. I did not read this in the reviews so i expected a bigger room. If staying there longer than 3 days i would book a bigger room because there is no closet to hang up clothes on or a large dressing table to put your stuff on. The beds and pillows we’re the best i’ve slept in. The breakfast is a la carte. The portions are very small so you need to make an extra order to be satisfied. It’s walking distance to Orchard Road where you can take the metro

As a true fan of The Standard hotel, we were excited to try this brand new location! The hotel has a perfect location right the the heartbeat of the city but quieter area at the same time! They managed to arrange a baby cot and were so relieved to see that the room is baby friendly when it comes to furnitures and carpet. We loved the vibe (as usual): The bathrobe, the towels quality, the staff kindness, service level and uniform! Small point of improvement would have been the portion of food at the breakfast are a bit small. Looking forward to visiting again!

New hotel with great service! The staff is attentive to assist where they could do so. For instance, we asked for tip to where to have traditional breakfast and the staff sent a complied list of places we could go in the neighborhood. The property is new and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood yet it's 15 minutes walk from the buzzeling of Orchard Road. Would recommend this place to stay and recharged!

The Standard absolutely beat our expectations. A mix of lush greenery and quirky art, the rooms were bright and comfortable, the shared areas were chill and made us not want to leave the hotel (in Singapore, I know!) and the food and drinks were exceptional. If you can't stay here, Kaya is worth a visit for their exciting take on Japanese food, and cocktails that sound crazy but are so unique and perfectly balanced, we were seriously impressed. The staff were fabulous too - greeting us with a glass of Veuve and providing top-notch hospitality for the entirety of our stay. A bright and bold hotel where you can still touch grass, we will definitely be back.

Stayed at a suite with poolview and to the roadside.actually not a very busy road beside the hotel at night.still ,noise level due to mediocre soundproofness of the windows was not acceptable from my point of view, especially if you consider that the opening of the hotel was in Nov 24. Design : nothing really exciting (my personal opinion only).Don't even got asked at check-out if everything was ok and how my stay was.After all, I'm still wondering why I booked this suite/hotel, summing up: will definetely not book again "The Standard" in Singapore.
