"We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future."

We also appreciated the quality of the kitchen/cooking tools (pots/pans etc.) and the mattress. This house lacked absolutely nothing! The owner kept great contact with us. "We really enjoyed our stay at this Galena rental. It was very clean and the 2 1/2 bathrooms were great! The wrap around porch was really cute and the fire pit was a special addition to the end of our evenings. "The only complaint was right at the end we were leaving around 9:30 a.m. and we had mowers come in and mow around the property at very high rates of speed. "Our stay was cut short due to the weather. The location was good for going to Galena and around Dubuque. Were allowed to drop off our personal items early which was nice. Sad the hot tub had leak we were looking forward to using. The bed main floor was comfortable. My daughter stated upstairs was not and she didnt get a lot of sleep."

"Amazing! Even better than the description. Such an amazing place to stay and excellent communication with the property manager. We will definitely be going back. We stayed 2 nights but that was not long enough. Next time we plan on going for a week! "The entire group LOVED this home and this home made our celebration for our friend's retirement extra special. The proximity to downtown Galena was closer than we expected. The layout of the home gave everyone enough private space to enjoy a full weekend together. The kitchen was large enough for 7 of us to enjoy a great meal together. The views in the morning and at sundown were spectacular. The evening hot tub ended our stay with special memories. All together the home was 5 star!!!"
