Notre réservation aurait été oubliée : l'hôtel n'ayant pas pour partenaire Hotels.com ... Nous avons tout de même été logés après plus d'une heure de discussion. Logement agréable mais très mal insonorisé : nous avons partagé le bruit de la douche et des toilettes des voisins du dessus. Personnel agréable et compatissant : une dame nous a préparé une salade à près de 22h. Mauvaise surprise au départ : on nous redemande le prix de la nuit et du petit-déjeuner ! Après un dialogue de sourds, nous appelons hotels.com qui est enfin joignable et finit par convaincre la propriétaire de notre bonne foi ! Bref la matinée et ses visites sont fichues ...

Hôtel peu conventionnel !!
Accès très difficile à l'hôtel (très en pente, il vaut mieux être en forme !, parking à 100 M) idem pour les chambres ! il faut monter beaucoup d'escaliers, Par contre très bon confort, belle salle d'eau, bien équipée. Le restaurant est excellent, presque gastronomique, En fait l'hôtel est en espaliers. La piscine est petite mais ambiance feutrée, cosy comme la terrasse où il fait bon prendre un verre en admirant un superbe coucher de soleil sur la montagne. Très bon accueil. A recommander mais pas pour des personnes âgées ou à mobilité réduite.

Exceptionnel, calme et plein de charme
Endroit exceptionnel pour visiter l'Est de la Crète ! Calme, beauté du lieu et belle situation pour rejoindre : Moklos (charmant village typique) à 10 mn, Sitia (y acheter ses souvenirs dans la boutique recommandée sur le port avec super rapport qualité prix , Plage de Vai (dans une palmeraie- 1 heure), Ierapetra (30mn) , Myrthos(15mn de plus). Le village rénové en pierres propose des chambres toutes différentes avec une décoration soignée et beaucoup de cachet. On s'y sent bien tout de suite ! (peignoirs-pantoufles- literie incroyablement confortable...) La vue est magnifique et, selon la chambre, on peut admirer le coucher de soleil de sa terrasse mais aussi de celle du bar ou de la terrasse du restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est inclus (chaud - à l'assiette et froid en buffet) et les menus du restaurant sont raffinés.Le service est très soigné et le serveur qui parle français est d'une grande gentillesse et d'un grand professionnalisme. L'accès à cet endroit est certes un peu plus complexe mais c'est aussi le charme du lieu et c'est loin d'être très compliqué. Un feu régule la circulation à l'endroit le plus étroit. Le mieux est de se garer tout au bout du chemin et si l'on ne veut pas porter les valises sur le terrain caillouteux, il suffit de les déposer en bas de la dernière ruelle sur la gauche et de laisser le conducteur garer la voiture. Petite piscine, wifi excellente et soins possibles de qualité (personne charmante qui parle français - prix très correct).

Le village hôtel magnifique, perdu dans la montagne. La terrasse du bar/restaurant avec une vue imprenable et un coucher de . Les chambres mignonnes où l’on se sent tout de suite bien. Le personnel du restaurant très accueillant, sympathique et à l’ecoute. Le spa dans une ancienne cave tres cosy et très bien équipé, la masseuse très compétente et sympathique.

A quaint boutique hotel with amazing views
We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were so friendly and the spa facilities were great. We had a good size room and the bed and pillows really comfortable Food in the restaurant was delicious. The views from the bar area are spectacular The only downside to the hotel is that it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility/walking problems as it’s a very steep approach to the hotel and lots of stairs to get to the restaurant

Great hotel to relax in the countryside
This hotel has the best views of the ocean and surrounding Cretan countryside featuring small villages dotting the hilly terrain. It is a great relaxing getaway for those needing quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city and are desiring an authentic rustic experience in this part of Greece.

Les hébergements proposés sont très atypiques et situés dans un petit village à flan de coteaux, à 5 km environ du bord de mer. On circule dans cet ensemble immobilier dans un dédale d'escaliers et de terrasses blanchis à la chaux, à l'image du village lui-même. L'accueil des hôtes de ces lieux est très sympathique, Petits déjeuners et repas servis sur une terrasse pleine de charme.

L'hôtel représente ce que l'on attend de la Crète... perché au dessus d'un village blanc où l'on ne trouve rien de touristique mais authentique par contre; Des critiques ont été émises quant à l'accèssibilité de l'établissement!!! Pour ceux-ci nous leur conseillons d'aller sur la côte dans des hôtels pour touristes stéréotypés Dans cet hôtel vous trouverez une équipe jeune, dynamique, sympa...tout pour plaire... Par contre , n'hésitez pas de poursuivre la route jusqu'au bout du village, là où elle s'arrête, portez vos bagages et c'est merveilleux!!!! n'hésitez pas.............

Somewhere a bit different
Cressa Ghitonia is a very different hotel from the norm. 15 derelict houses were converted into this hotel. It is situated in a small village in the mountains with views over the village to the sea beyond. There is a small pool, most rooms have their own terrace and there is a spa. The staff are cheerful and friendly. The food is excellent and inexpensive. The hotel is up a steep and narrow road, because of the village location a car is highly recommended. To drive in this part of Crete you need to like hairpin bends and big drops! We thought the whole holiday was idyllic.

Les plus: La vue Le charme de l'hôtel Le personnel Le restaurant Le spa abordable et pro. Les moins: L'accessibilité que ce soit en voiture ou pour accéder à l'hôtel avec les valises sans aucune aide. Le petit déjeuner qui ne commence qu'à 9h... Le pot d'accueil, pourtant une bonne idée, mais il faut penser aux enfants ! Néanmoins un bon hôtel plein de charme.
