"Two couples stayed 6 nights. On days we had to get out early we were able to make breakfast at home. Many evenings we ended on the large patio with the ocean breeze. You can literally watch the sunrise from bed. VERY secure which my husband appreciated. Next door to a local bar, but late night karaoke on Sunday and a birthday party later in the week is the only time it was noticeable. "

Only the rooms have ac but that’s fine as the breeze keeps things cool (in December). Caretakers are super nice and very helpful. Takes up to half hour to get to the main town of Placencia - plenty of grocery stores and restaurants to choose from. "Our house was exceptional. We brought inflatable paddle boards and got out every day. We loved the roof top patio, and made good use of the kitchen. The bugs are no joke. Some in our group hardly got bitten, some got eaten alive.
