"Lots of wood and lots of colour all around, so a welcome change from the typical hotel interior."

"Magical location, really romantic and serene. We stayed at the castle which was a great and unique experience. We had a little issue with the toilet seat and the room was a bit small but I guess this was part of the charm of the place. Staff were really nice and friendly especially the somellier, yet some of them were very young and clearly needed some additional training. However, breakfast was nice and wine and rakish were divine. Place has so much charm and is really really unique."

The stone roofs of all the buildings on the property are perfectly restored and they are absolutely spectacular. The spirit and the rural way of life of the 1920s can be felt. It was like stepping back in time. If one looks for a luxury is not going to find it there, however all the necessities for a comfortable stay are present; fully functional kitchen, clean hot shower and fast internet. The access to the house is off the main roads and somewhat remote, however the house is strategically located to allow for daily trips to perhaps two dozen places of interest: historic villages and towns, monasteries and museums. The host, Kalin, was great; very friendly, responding immediately to any correspondence and talking passionately about the restoration process of the property. "
