"Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "What a marvelous snowy getaway at 2W Lake B&B! Host Clark was attentive, responsive, and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. We especially enjoyed relaxing conversations with him after he served sumptuous morning meals. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and quite cozy with a stunning lake view. Highly recommend!!"

"Annual girls weekend for 5. This was a new location this year instead of the beach...The serene surroundings were perfect, a little chill in the air and the town of Skaneatles is charming. Basement bedroom did not have adequate heater flow and the overall cabin needed a good clean and some recaulking but we enjoyed the rustic accommodations. Thank you for a great getaway."

"Such a lovely place. The view out the kitchen windows is beautiful and peaceful. Great location, excellent communication with the owner, comfortable home with so many spots to sit and relax. Book it, you won't be disappointed. A little tricky to find the driveway, but owner is available to help if you need it."

"Pleasant cottage, AC was very comfortable. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, yard games, floating deck and fire pit. Extreme care is needed with steep, narrow lakefront stairs. We loved historic downtown, highly recommend Harriet Tubman Museum in Auburn & Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse. The gravel lane to home was partially washed out, narrow & very steep, needs new gravel, grading & crowning which is responsibility of all homeowners on lane, all or 4-wheel drive is recommended.
