"The room was excellent with a surprising amount of space, clean and all the usual amenities you'd need. It was nice and quiet as it could be considering the adjacent road. Both dinner options in the pub and breakfast in the restaurant on the other side were delicious with plenty of choice. At every stage the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Lovely little find, excellent price

"We had room 605, it was very big with a big bathroom and jacuzzi style bath. Radiator wasnt working but there was a heater on the wall which we needed to turn up as it was cold, once it kicked in the room was toasty. Bed was very comfortable and huge, super king I'd guess. Pool was lovely, as was jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were not hot enough, that was my only negative comment about my stay."

"My husband and I spent one night here on a stopover and it was a very nice, clean hotel. We didn’t go into the restaurant or bar at all because the area was so beautiful and easily walkable we went to see as much as we could while there. We were there in January so the hotel was very quiet, but even so there is ample parking. There is no front desk staff at night and we did have to wait outside for a little while to be let into the building after our evening out I’m not sure if it was because of the season or if it’s the norm. My only real complaint was the room was cool and it only had mediocre hot water. All in all very nice, and would recommend. "
