"The service at Parklands is exceptional. I particularly loved the 'cooked to order' breakfast and the spa. The hydro pool is the best I have ever used and the swimming pool is above average size. "Avril offered us a real bed and breakfast experience, meaning we felt like we were invited to stay the night in her home. We had a long interesting chat in the morning. If people want more of a "quick-and-easy" hotel experience, perhaps this is not the place for you. The room was beautiful with view on the sea, the house was very nice: we felt like the time had stopped for a bit which is exactly what we were looking for. Many thanks Avril for making our stay so enjoyable. "

"The bedroom appeared to be clean but when I moved one of the beds and a bedside cabinet there was rubbish behind and under the furniture. I had to move the bed to gain access to the wardrobe. The bathroom, however, was not clean at all. There was rubbish on the floor and it was filthy. The shower door didn’t open fully because the sink was in the way. The room was so small it was awful. The shower door did not close properly as it was warped at the bottom. We didn’t use it whilst we were there...
