Short walk to both beach and Kalamata city center on a quiet street with plenty of parking - a car is a must in Kalamata to really explore! While there is air conditioning, it is limited to 24c (75 degrees) and gets quite warm at night. "We spent just under 3 weeks in the Peloponnese and this mansion was our home base. It was so excellent we didn't want to leave. Great pool and hot tub, spacious, lots of fruit trees that were in season, a taverna within walking distance and beaches that were perfect for sunning and playing in the Aegean. The house is so impressive and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, an outside grill, gated with an large lawn, and views to die for. We also loved the ping pong table, foosball table...

A few minor niggles - loud lawn mower, tree trimmer from 5am every day disturbed sleep. Shower system quite old, leaky and small bathrooms. It is fully remodeled and updated, comfortable bedding and furniture, good water pressure, two bathrooms, and a convenient location. My only regret is that I would have liked staying in it longer!
