"Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option. "

"Excellent pace to stay, close to the train station, pubs and bars , room looks modern, clean and fresh, although over the road from a busy bar we slept really well as the new windows blocked out any noise , we did have and issue with room keys on arrival but we sorted it with the help of another guest , we’d definitely stay again ."

"We had a great time here. Nice property and grounds to walk around. They have 2 sheep on the property (gated away) that we passed by on our walk through the woods (watch out for pesky nettle in Ireland)! Great hospitality from Eva (the caretaker) and the bread and jam basket was lovely. Clean and heat worked well. Plenty of parking if need be. Full kitchen stocked with everything we needed, even a French press! Ciaran had great communication and responded quickly to any questions we had before...

"What a gorgeous, cozy cottage! It would be rhe perfect place to curl up in for the winter. It's also close to Dublin airport and a relatively easy connection to downtown Dublin with the DART train in Malahide. "We enjoyed the property very much. Checking was pleasant with Caithriona seeing to everything! The property was recently remodeled from old farm house to modern farm house. The surrounding green fields had sheep, cows and bunny rabbits running around. We had a very pleasant stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was super spacious, we were greeted by a very friendly cat, buns/croissants/jams/butter/milk/OJ when we arrived, and the property was very clean. It was our favorite VRBO out of the 5 that we stayed at during our UK/Ireland vacation. "Trim Castle Cottage was a great place to stay when we visited the Trim area. We not only visited Trim, but also Newgrange and my wife’s ancestors’ home area in Westmeath. This made the location of the cottage perfect. The cottage itself had a spot to park the car, which was a must have. It was immaculately clean and very functional for the two couples on the trip. We would definitely rent again when we visit Trim in the future. "

"Mark the property manager was an absolute delight. He would help us with any questions we had. We checked in late to our house and he left his number for us to contact him. He even brought croissants and coffee to us the next morning. The only downside is that it is far away from stores and town. We had to taxi into Swords to catch a train or bus."
