"We booked this hotel last minute at a good price £45, and for the price we paid I'd say it was acceptable. We were in room 212 and the bedroom was ok, the restrictor on the window was broken which didn't pose a safety concern to us but may to others. The bathroom however needs some attention, the floor was broken in places and even though it was probably cleaned it really didn't feel clean. The toilet moved when you sat on it. For a 2star hotel it was ok. Neighbouring rooms did seem to slam...

"Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. "Really enjoyed my stay at the Tower hotel and spa, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is delicious I had the roast lamb dinner both nights of my stay because it was so delicious, I didn’t sleep very well on my first night in the tower and mentioned this to a lovely lady who worked in the restaurant and in no time at all they moved me to another room, nothing was too much trouble. "We liked the whole atmosphere surrounding the house and gardens etc. the staff were super and very helpful. The breakfasts were great especially the Welsh breakfast! We will be coming again.
