"I had not stayed here before, but was able to secure a reservation for one night. The outside is a motel, but the room was more like a hotel. Beautiful and spacious and very clean. I was very happy overall and will likely book again sometime."

"Good home base for our family catching up on life. Staff were all excellent and the facility was in great shape. Location was great compared to where are daughter and son-in-law live. Coffee was great- ready to go on our early departure time on Monday (even before Breakfast was open). We will be back in the future."

"It’s convenient to almost everything . Bed is comfortable, new linens, housekeeping comes everyday to clean the room, provide us clean towels everyday. Front desk staff is very kind. Upgraded us to a bigger room (king bed) without any extra charges. We are from Vancouver BC. We came to Connecticut to attend a funeral. Our 6nights stay at this Inn was very comfortable. Cheshire Inn is highly recommended."

"Excellent! Valet Parking, easy check-in, location was great! Our room was modern & very clean! The bed was so comfortable and a nice big TV in the room. The lobby was very cozy and they have a fantastic restaurant & bar right inside the hotel! "

"This seems to be a fairly new hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was all very friendly. Breakfast was the standard hotel Breakfast with a decent selection. The one MAJOR con was the this hotel is directly on top of i95 and it was EXTREMELY loud. Maybe the rooms not facing the road were not as noisy!?! But if not looking to be woken up throughout the night and sleep past 530am this may not be a good choice for you. Other than the nouse this is a. Ice place "

"Great spot in downtown near Yale, lots of restaurants, and nightlife activities. Convenient parking across the street, super friendly staff! You can chromecast in your room and there’s a small market downstairs.The only small inconvenience was the bathroom lights are so incredibly bright when you use the bathroom at 4 am, but other than that it was great. We would definitely go again!"

Cute cute cute!

"This property was perfect for us. My husband and I were in town for my Grandsons big football game (Go Cheshire!) This location is central to everything we had to do, including walking distance to Town Square and many restaurants. Easy access to supporting highway rds around us. Apartment was clean, with all the right ameneties. Very secure as well. Highly recommend Scottys Restaurant for breakfast (directly behind the VRBO.) "

My aching knees

"If I had known the elevator wasn't working I would not have stayed there. At no time did you say it wasn't working. I was on the third floor & I have very bad knees. It was sheer agony going up & down those stairs. Very disappointed!!!"

Charming!!

"The apartment is beautifully restored, whimsically decorated with very nice furniture which is also comfortable. There are lights and outlets everywhere!! Linens and towels sparking clean and brand new!! All kinds of kitchen equipment. As an “older person”!! I had a little trouble navigating the shower that is in an enclose tub but that would not be a problem for the young. It is in a part of town with a moderately busy street and a rooster in the am!! But the white noise machines on both sides of the bed made it all okay. There is a washer and a dryer so longer stays would work well. I would definitely stay there again. Karl was a very nice host."

Seasons Hospitality Presents All New 1BR with tons of Charm

Had everything I needed

"This property was almost perfect for what I needed, which was a home base where I could sleep, bathe, cook, and eat. I did not spend a lot of time there during the day, but was able to pop in as needed to make meals before heading back out. It's very cute and I appreciated all of the thoughtful touches, like the Brita water filter, the basket of travel toiletries in case I forgot something, a decent amount of hangers to fully unpack, a spice rack, cooking necessities, etc. It was also nice to have a code to get into the building and into the room making check in easy and providing a sense of safety. I rented a different property from Karl last year and had a good experience there as well. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the property is right next to the train tracks and the rail car honks the horn while crossing the intersection. If you are a light sleeper that may be an issue. I brought a white noise machine plus had the air conditioner on and was able to sleep fine, but it did wake me up between 7am and 8am each morning. As long as I didn't need have a need to sleep late, I would stay here again. "

Great Host, Perfect Location, and Great Suite

"The host was very responsive and even very accommodating for a last minute change. While it's right next to the train tracks, the provided sound machine was enough to help us sleep through the night. The host had everything in order, and even took care of all the little details of toiletries, coffee, etc. We'll be back in the area soon, and he'll be our first call for a place to stay."
