"We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. House was clean, well supplied and in a great location. Host was very responsive and helpful. Excellent family getaway!"

"You can’t beat this central location in downtown Lanesboro. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Spacious house with several beautiful outdoor seating arrangements. Private parking spaces in back or public spaces in front & across the street from the house made parking convenient. Very updated & modern interior finishes & appliances….and comfy beds too. Hosts Jim & Jill were very communicative. If we ever visit Lanesboro again, we’d book a stay here for sure. "

"We loved everything about our stay here. My sister and I grew up in rural Iowa as kids and have been city people for many years now. We wanted a rural experience. The country side was beautiful. The quest house was wonderful. An Amish neighbor had finished the interior, and it could not have been more charming or functional. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on the back patio and the rescue animals they keep. Sheldon and Andera were so friendly and accommodating, but yet respected our privacy. "
