"This is a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The description is correct in noting the "eye for detail": the interior decor is stunning. The loft / open concept was ideal for my husband, son and I and the location allowed for daytrips to Bruges, Ghent as well as some cycling along the canal (although the bicycles are in need of some maintenance)."

No where to relax after a long apart from a bed and a dinning chair. "The loft was perfect for the four of us. Location is a short walk to the center of Ghent. Across the canal was a hidden gem--Industrie Museum. And a lovely Italian restaurant. The loft was light and airy, the bathrooms modern. The common area has a nice seating area, a huge dining table and an adequate kitchen and a small powder room. Common area is up one flight of stairs, 3 bedrooms and baths a second and the fourth bedroom another flight (in case stairs are a problem). The host was...

"A large soul less showroom flat. No pictures, no tourist information or maps. Everything was extra including having the rubbish removed.so you had to put your rubbish in public rubbish bins. All the appliances were high tech, instructions would have been very useful. When booking a flat we made sure there was outside space. There was a nice space but no furniture. It is a sad, because it was a lovely large flat in a good location. People need to understand the meaning of hospitality"

"We had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. The rooms are smallish but you get everything you need, although maybe an in room kettle would be useful. The shower was always warm and a good pressure on the water. The bed was very comfortable. Our room (239) was on the second floor towards the rear of the hotel so was a very quiet room. The food at breakfast was really nice and plenty of it, so felt good value. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is a great location for exploring Ghent being a 5 minute or so walk from the Cathedral, Belfry etc. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, it was a very enjoyable stay."

Gent is Beautiful and Hotel Location is A+

"We arrived to the hotel via tram from the train station. The location of this hotel is awesome! Literally the most popular sites are outside the door. The downside is that it was very noisy outside from people walking by very early in the morning. We kept the window open at night to get the room cool and for fresh air. The front staff and housekeepers whom we met were friendly. I loved hearing the church bells ringing. Overall, we would stay again. Gent captured our hearts. "
