"This was a wonderful place to stay! It was about a 40-minute walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside and it was very quick to go downtown that way if you don't have a car. There are hiking paths in the huge park nearby and an excellent restaurant across the street serving Slovenian cuisine. "This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect - located almost directly on the canal, minutes walk from the castle and the bridges. We were so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was great, even though options for vegans were limited. One of the staff did offer us additional avocado or asked if there was anything else we’d like. I just thought that was really thoughtful. The coffee was beautiful. Our room was perfect for us- the bathroom lovely and the bed really comfy. We honestly could not have asked for a better hotel and am so glad we chose to stay here."
