"Great location, very clean at check-in, easy beach access, parking for 2 vehicles, road access a bit hairy due to bushes blocking oncoming traffic view, well equipped kitchen and extra linens provided, kitchen chairs could use cushions, had to fiddle with thermostat so it wasn't so cold, wi-fi fast enough for multiple video displays, filtered water from refrigerator had no beachy taste"

"My husband, my mother, and I have been renting a place together in Surf City for two weeks every summer since 2020. (I grew up across the high-rise bridge, in Sneads Ferry, and my mom still lives in the area, so we still consider ourselves 'local', even though I'm in Chicago now!). It is an absolute dream to be able to come back and visit every year. I come for the beautiful beach, the warm water, the fresh seafood, and the unpretentious charm of Topsail Island. The location of this house can't be beat. The kitchen upgrade is terrific, and the dining room table was excellent. The porch is great. Communication with the management company was top-notch. Loved having washer and dryer in the unit, instead of downstairs. I hope the owners will put some more love into the bathrooms, which could use some upgrading, and the living room furniture. It's also clear that the A/C unit is on its last leg, which made for an uncomfortable period while we waited for that to be serviced. That said, the management company was EXCELLENT and very attentive."

"We loved the house. Perfect for us. Beachfront. It was exactly what we needed and the rooms were perfect for all of us. Would definitely stay here again. The owners responded quickly with everything, even when we had a little issue with the air conditioning, they got someone out asap. Very quickly. Location was perfect. We love this house. Would highly recommend. "
